We had an absolutely wonderful time. Gerry was a great driver, kind, and very informative.
Very impressed with Liam, our guide, as he navigated the bus on the narrow roads and sharp turns. He knows his history and kept it entertaining. The tour was great and we saw amazing sites!
Driver and tour guide Dave was great!!! He made the trip there and back very enjoyable!!! Highly recommend this tour!
We only made two stops out of the 4 planned, shameful for the price. Tripadvisor sells a dream.
Very good tour guide and easy trip out to the cliffs of moher and back. Bus was comfortable and stops for stretching your legs.
Disappointing experience with misleading description! This is JUST a bus to the Cliffs of Moher. If that's what you want, it was fine - bus was fine, driver was fine, process was fine. And the Cliffs are spectacular. We thought we would get to visit some sites in the Irish countryside between Dublin and the Cliffs. The description is misleading at best. We expected commentary from a tour guide - the tour guide is the bus driver, who didn't say too much because he was focused on driving (that's good!). Most of my family was fine with that, and you might be, too. I was hoping for a little more. Kinvara is a nothing stop. The castle has been closed for years and is too far away from the stopping point unless you power walk. So we asked the driver to recommend a place to go in the village, and he laughed. There's one block. At some point we drove through the Burren. I don't blame Paddywagon for the fact that it was rainy and we couldn't see anything, but I have no idea what I was supposed to see or when I was supposed to see it - I am wondering if you can get anything but a glimpse even on a clear day. Liscannor stop is not a stop in a village, it is a stop at a cafeteria-serve restaurant (The Frantic Chef) where you are shuttled inside to buy their food. Is there anything else to see? Could I have eaten anywhere else? I have no idea - we had only 40 minutes there parked directly at the place they wanted us to eat. Bunratty Castle looked interesting, but you don't have time to enter (and park 10 minutes from the entrance/exit anyway). In all, we "saw" two castles, "visited" two villages, but did get our 90 minutes at the cliffs. If you just want to get to the Cliffs, this tour is fine - and the Cliffs might be worth it. But that's all you get!
A beautiful day trip to the Cliffs of Moher 💚 Our driver (unfortunately I don't remember his name anymore) was really great, told us something every now and then but wasn't annoying. The short stops were perfect for stretching our legs. And the cliffs, well, they are simply impressive and always worth a trip.
We had a wonderful day with Gerry our driver and guide. We got to visit the Cliffs of Moher, drive along the Wild Atlantic Way and The Burren, such jaw-dropping scenery........ Gerry's Irish History lesson and wealth of local knowledge all along the trip made it a very enjoyable day for two Dubs being tourists for the day. Highly recommended.
Good experience with a very good driver and guide: Connor! He offered us a unique visual and cultural experience in good spirits and in the rain!
Karl was great, and the trip itself has the most bangin restaurant half way through. Moher was definitely beautiful, and the accomodating spots definitely made it all the more fun.
