- Tour operates All year round (except on Christmas Day), and runs daily.
- First departure from Stop 1 at 9:15am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 5pm. Duration - 2 hours. Frequency - every 20 - 25 minutes, however this is subject to change depending on the time of day and year; please check locally for the latest timetable.
- Tour begins at the Irish Whiskey Museum, however passengers can hop on to the tour at any bus stop along the route.
- You must bring a mobile or printed voucher for this tour.
- Mobile vouchers can be redeemed at any of stops along the route. Paper vouchers must be redeemed at one of the following tourist offices: 37 College Green, Dublin 2. 69 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin 1.
- Buses provide a multilingual audio tour commentary.
- With your voucher, enjoy flexible access for up to 12 months from the travel date you select at check-out.
- 1 child (aged 3-12) can travel for free with every 2 paying adults. No ticket required for the child
- Walking Tour: Departs every day at 10am, 11am and 2pm. Starting point is The Spire, O'Connell Street. Duration of the tour: 3 hour approximately. Customers will need to show their ticket to the guide. Once you receive your travel ticket on site, you can use the QR code on it to reserve your spot on the walking tour for free, saving 3€ on the booking fee as a City Sightseeing customer

- Meal deals are available at J. R Mahon's Public House & Brewery (Stop 19), Kennedy's Pub & Restaurant, and Murray's Bar and Grill (Stop 18). Additional meal deal available at O'Shea's Merchant if you purchase the 72-hour ticket. You must present your ticket at the time of purchase
- 48 and 72-hour tickets only: entry to either Irish Whiskey Museum or World of Illusion Museum is included in your ticket. Pre-booking is essential. Walk-ins are not accepted. A link to book your place will be provided after purchase

As we arrived at the stop in the morning we were told we just missed the bus but another should be by in 20-30 minutes. We waited an hour. We hopped off after a couple of stops for a quick visit (10-15 minutes) and headed directly back to the stop as the next bus should have been 10-15 minutes away. We waited over 45 minutes. We chose the city sightseeing because my father can’t walk or stand for long. When we finally got on again he was too tired because of standing to do anymore stops. Big waste of money for us.

We are truly sorry to hear about the long waiting times you encountered during your City Sightseeing Dublin tour, especially as you chose the Hop-On Hop-Off service because your father is unable to walk or stand for extended periods. We completely understand how frustrating and disappointing it must have been to wait around an hour at the first stop and then more than 45 minutes after your short visit. Unfortunately, this meant that your father was left tired and unable to continue enjoying the sightseeing tour as you had planned. We sincerely apologize that the service did not provide the comfortable and convenient way to discover Dublin that you expected. Very clean buses, the customer service representatives at each bus stop was very helpful in helping us to get on the correct bus for the tour that were of interest to us.

The tour gives a good idea of what Dublin has to offer. It is a pity that a lot of information is given about the distilleries (sponsorship?) and little about important history lessons such as the rising of 1916 and the civil war in the following years. It was downright annoying that we had a driver who found it necessary to wait at least ten minutes at several stops before driving again. So even in Phoenix Park we got sight of the bus after us.
Great way to see various parts of the city to decide where you want to go. Drivers were very friendly and helpful.

Loved the fact that there was no need to wear ear buds, all sound was piped in. The sound quality was good as well.

Purchased the voucher which you are supposed to be able to redeem on the bus. QR code not accepted and now they will not refund me. I was only free on the day of purchase so could not use on another day. Beware of how you purchase tickets from these people. Cannot rate the tour as couldnt get on! Try Big Bus looks better anyway!!
