Within walking distance of our hotel, we enjoyed a great evening and wonderful food. The music was pleasant, not too loud. My steak was amazing and my partners chicken was perfect. Very attentive friendly staff. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
As a first-time guest, the experience felt a bit unorganized because we weren’t sure what to expect or what we were supposed to do. Shortly after we departed, dinner was served, and by the time we finished our meal, we were already returning to the dock. As a result, we had very little opportunity to go outside, enjoy the scenery, or take photos. To be honest, I was disappointed. Given the price of the experience, I expected more than just an expensive dinner. I was looking forward to spending time on the deck, taking in the views, and enjoying the overall atmosphere, but there simply wasn’t enough time to do that. The ticket I purchased for Friday night advertised a three-hour experience, but we docked after about 2½ hours. I expected to have another 30 minutes to enjoy the scenery before returning, but that wasn’t the case. One suggestion I have is to provide guests with a recommended schedule or itinerary at the beginning of the cruise so first-time visitors know what to expect. It would also be helpful if the host announced that guests are welcome to step outside between courses to enjoy the views while the next course is being prepared. Then, when the next course is ready, another announcement could let everyone know it’s being served. I think this would create a much more enjoyable and well-paced experience for guests.
The experience was great; Sal, our waiter, was awesome!!! But the booking was for 7 pm; the cruise was scheduled for 3 hours. We were docked and off the ship by 9:32pm. Is this that new Math?
It was amazing, the staff was so great and I can’t remember everyone’s name but I was on deck two and the RJ and bartender was super nice and funny! Me and my friend waitress was also very kind and cool.
Spending the evening on Ssn Diego Bay at a City Cruises Dinner outing is a truly enjoyabke experience. Food is fabulous and service exceptional while enjoying grand views on the waterfront at sunset. Top off the night twirling on the dance floor. Great idea to impress a dste or take out visitors to show off our fine city.
Enjoyed both the cruise and the food.
We hope to welcome you back for another great experience.
This is for you not other travelers: the food was cold - every course in addition to that One of our party’s steaks was good - the other tasted totally different and not in a good way. The gnocchi was inedible. Our waitress was slow snd never asked us if we wanted more drinks - which we did. The boat was great - the staff was great and the DJ fun. But the food and food service was horrendous.
The cruise along with the crew was very nice. The food was good and they kept the champagne flowing.
The cruise exceeded my expectations for a classy meal with wonderful dancing d music that was appropriate for the kids and adults in my party. Very helpful staff with gluten and vegan sensitivity gorgeous views and sunset the best time!
Our company had our End of the Year celebration with City Cruises and it was definitely the talk of the office for months. The boat was lovely and had just come from being beautifully remodeled. The crew members were so professional and friendly, the chef's did an amazing job with making, preparing our meals and dessert. The City Cruise team gave us an experience that we will always remember and are thankful for the time spent!
