Paolo was an absolutely incredible host. He communicated early on and allowed us to make some minor tweaks that made our trip special. I would highly recommend. Due to the time of year we booked, we got a tour of vineyards that were partially harvested and then got to see the inner workings of the processing plant. At the end you go to try a few coutant champagnes and you have the opportunity to purchase some bottles
An amazing trip to a fabulous vineyard followed by an incredibly informative tasting with our wonderful guide, Paolo.
Very knowledgeable and nice guide! Felt exclusive and personal.
It was a great afternoon. We were picked up by van from the hotel for a private tour. After about 15 minutes drive we arrived at the vineyards. Got a good explanation about the growing process and then could taste different types of champagne on location. Really a great afternoon.
We were picked up at the hotel when the weather was bad. A very talented and interested guide who taught us a lot about champagne, both technology history and flavors. Can really recommend if you want a per private and interesting briefing with good champagne. Feels intimate and personal when you are very small group. We were 4 people. Big difference from the big champagne houses.
Small champagne manufacturer, family-owned. Paolo picked us up at the hotel and after a short drive led us to one of the vineyards of the estate. We have received a lot of information about terroir, organic viticulture and vines. Afterwards we went to a tasting room of the family. There we got further very interesting insights into winemaking, harvesting, PRESSING AND processing. We tasted three champagnes. We bought several bottles. Very informative tour.
We were on a great couple visit during which we could talk to you about all the characteristics of champagne whether it be history, manufacturing and craftsmanship. The service was as good as what we drank We recommend .
We had the most wonderful experience seeing this beautiful vineyard and learning all about Champagne making. Our guide Paolo was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also had an engaging way of teaching. He explained the process of making champagne with passion making it easy to understand and fascinating from start to finish. The tour felt personal and authentic, from visiting the vines to tasting champagnes that reflected the region’s tradition. Paolo made the tour unforgettable — a lovely man who clearly loves what he does! Loved that he text us some of the valuable information that we were scared of forgetting as well. The champagne we tasted was MANGNIFIQUE!! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Champagne in the most genuine, educational, and heartwarming way. Five stars all the way!
