Go see Belgium with Jorge

What a delightful way to add on to an Amsterdam trip. One day, two Belgian cities, one beautiful and the other more beautiful than words can describe. If you’re lucky, Jorge will be guide and you’ll learn the whole story from a very knowledgeable guy. The trip is a 10 out of 10. Brugge is a 12 out of 10.

The Essential of Belgium

The tour was very pleasant since the boarding at the meeting point, the guide Jorge is friendly and quite professional. We followed directly to Brussels with a coffee stop, we walked through the sights and stopped for lunch, where we were very well served in the restaurant suggested by the guide, everything perfect, excellent food. We continued our journey to Bruges, where we discovered a charming place full of history. Despite being exhausting, the tour is well worth it.

Great day trip to Belgium

The tour was very organized. I really enjoyed the places we visited. Jorge is an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and intelligent. The bus was very comfortable and the trip was smooth. I do recommend to increase the temperature a bit as through out the trip the bus temperature was very cold. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip and highly recommend it to everyone.

Extreme heat

The tours and the guide were great. However, it was a very hot day and the air conditioner on our bus was not working and would not cool. Everyone on the bus was miserable on the ride from Brussels to Bruges and from Bruges back to Amsterdam. We all were hesitant to purchase chocolates for fear that they would just melt on the bus back to Amsterdam. At the halfway point back to Amsterdam, we had to stop to change bus drivers. The new bus driver tried unsuccessfully to get the air conditioner to work but then opened the roof hatches so that some outside air could circulate. Everyone was glad to get off that bus.

No AC

The guide, Andrea, was great. However, the bus didn’t have AC and it was 30 degrees. The bus felt like an oven which made our trip more difficult to enjoy. Shout out to the guy who bought ice for everyone. Bruges is definitely a place to see.

Operator response

Dear Carl. Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to hear Andrea made a positive impression. We're sorry about the issue with the bus's air conditioning. Unfortunately, unexpected situations like this can occasionally occur, and we appreciate your patience and understanding throughout the tour. Do not choose Viator/ Amigo tours

Terrible experience with viator and Amigo tours, no communication from the tour guide and we ended up missing the trip , they did no refund inspite of the huge money paid. Please be aware as they had no courtesy to follow up on the partial refund atleast. The first and foremost job a tour guide does is to call and check on the travellers before time but they did nothing. The Amigo tour customer service is pathetic as they were too rude to address the issue. We will never choose this same travels again.

Operator response

Dear Customer. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience. We always provide the meeting point details and contact information in advance so our travelers have all the necessary information before the tour. We appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving our communication and service. Best Regards from the Quality Department of Amigo Tours – Rodrigo
