Cesarine: Small group Pasta and Tiramisu class in Varenna

This was a highlight of our trip and we would 10/10 book this again! Patrizia was welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious!

This was one of the best experiences we’ve had! Patrizia was so kind and patient with our group as she expertly helped us make pasta and tiramisu. Lots of laughs and personal touches from the wine, cheese, meat and hotpot of the oven focaccia to showing us how to each make our on pasta and tortellini. Afterwards we all sat down to eat the pasta we made along with her homemade red sauce and pesto sauce. The whole process was incredible and the view from her house was magical! I highly recommend doing this!

This was by far one of the best experiences of our whole Como trip. Patrizia welcomed us into her home and made us feel like a part of her family. The food was phenomenal, and the company was fantastic. I would do other classes with Patrizia in a heart beat!

Our cooking class with Monica was amazing! She was so welcoming and did a great job showing us how simple making pasta can be! Highly recommend taking one of her cooking classes next time you’re visiting Varenna!

Our Cesarine was the sweetest! We had a wonderful evening and the best meal of our trip. It’s not right in Varenna but she gave us a great taxi contact to take us the 20 min drive! Would definitely recommend this experience, we loved!!

We had the best time with our host Patrizia! She was so welcoming, very skilled, and made the entire experience incredible. Our meals were delicious and she was so helpful! I can’t wait to share my experience with my family and prepare them the meals we cooked. I would definitely do another class with Patrizia.

We took our cooking class with Antonietta and had the most incredible experience. Antonietta was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and welcoming and her passion for cooking was clear throughout our time with her. We made two dishes - ravioli with spinach and ricotta filling and tagliatelle with ragu. We also made tiramisu to be enjoyed after the pasta. We were able to take notes on all of the dishes so we can share the deliciousness with friends and family. This cooking class was our last night in Varenna and it was the perfect evening. We would not have changed a thing! We highly, highly recommend Antonietta’s class.

It was a really interesting, relaxed, and educational experience. We prepared three delicious Italian dishes quickly and easily. It was fascinating to hear about family traditions and chat with the American couple who joined us. We definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to soak up the atmosphere of Italian cuisine

Patrizia and Luca welcomed us into their beautiful home with such warmth that by the end of the evening we felt less like guests and more like friends. Making pasta together was fun, relaxed, and genuinely engaging, and the food was delicious. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was everything beyond the cooking: the lively conversation, the laughter, and the feeling of being welcomed into their everyday family life. If you are looking for more than just learning how to make pasta—if you want a warm, authentic, and personal experience with wonderful local hosts—we cannot recommend Patrizia and Luca highly enough. This was a true highlight of a trip already filled with special moments. One thing to note: their lovely home is outside of Varenna. Once they have shared the directions to their home with you, we recommend that you arrange transportation (taxi) to and from their home.
