Welcoming and fun experience in their beautiful home with great food and an amazing view
They mentioned tiramisu but didn’t taught me that. We made some different dessert which was ok. The Pasta was nice.
Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you so much for this feedback, and we are sorry your host did not teach you how to make tiramisù. We hope you enjoyed your class and the dessert you prepared and we will look in to this with our host, to understand why she did not teach you how to prepare tiramisù. We wish you beautiful days ahead in Italy Our very best wishes,
Our instructor Anna will always be remembered as one of our best experiences in Italy. She was one of the most hospitable people I have ever met in all of my years of traveling. We started at her very cozy home in Naples where she prepared the most delicious lemon cake I have ever had and some espresso! We moved on to start making the tiramisu as she explained each step and let us have a hands on experience. We were so proud of the final product and Anna made it so much fun! Next, she prepared a beautiful snack for us including fresh Focaccia bread, anchovies, bruschetta and zucchini. It was beyond delicious, we couldn’t stop eating! We were blown away by Anna’s constant want to make us happy. It felt like I was at my own relative’s home. Last but not least, we learned how to make two different kinds of pasta: one native to Sorrento and a ravioli dish. Anna explained each step and made sure while she gave instructions, that we had our own cooking experience and learned hands on. We even learned Italian along the way! Finally, we joined Anna and her sweet mother for the most delicious lunch of pasta and tiramisu for dessert. I was in Italy for 9 days and this was my favorite experience and food of the whole trip. I will be back to see Anna next time I’m in Italy. You MUST request to work with her, she is the absolute BEST!
