From the legendary 1840, Fonseca's first Vintage Port release, to the superb declared vintages of the last decade, the house of Fonseca has produced a succession of highly acclaimed wines even in the most adverse moments of history. This unforgettable experience at Fonseca includes a guided tour to the cellars, where visitors can learn about the history behind this renowned Port house, followed by a tasting of 2 of its iconic wines to the sound of Fado - one of the biggest symbols of Portuguese culture.

Unexpectedly planned a visit to the Fonseca winery and listener to Fado performance ended up being an amazing evening.
Our tour & history of the wine house was great- a nice overview with opportunity to ask questions, yet not too in depth. Our guide was very welcoming & knowledgeable. However, the highlight of the tour eas the fado show! The singer & musicians were fabulous, and what an incredible setting for the experience! Hands down would recommend this addition to the tour!
We loved our tour, tasting, Fado music, and then dinner. It is a nicely run tour and very informative. We appreciated the opportunity to taste our port while listening to music. Afterward they collected us for dinner afterward which was next day.
My favorite part was listening to Fado! It was beautiful!!! We learned about some of the history of port wine and the company itself.
Visiting a winery in Porto, being able to taste their wines, and listening to fado at the end of the tour, all in one activity and place, is simply exquisite. It was a great choice to select Fonseca among so many existing options. Special mention to our waitress, a Chilean girl who was very sweet. Super fun. 100% recommendable

This was a good tour, and I did enjoy it! A few things that would have made it better in my opinion were that the tour of the facility itself was a bit more detailed, the wine tasting was in more in depth, and/or came with snacks to complement/understand the tastes more.

This was an awesome experience! The tour of the facilities was cool but the best part was enjoying the Fado performance while sipping on port wine. A truly unique and Portuguese experience!
