The corniche remains the fashionable escape from the crowds and pollution of the city. Additionally, we will be able to see the first lighthouse in the city which stands as a hero against the Atlantic rough winds and waves.
Driving through Anfa, you'll discover an exclusive hilltop neighborhood with broad palm-lined avenues, lush gardens and stylish villas built over the last century. Though now demolished, the Hotel d'Anfa was the site of the historic 1943 meeting where President Roosevelt and Prime Minister Churchill finalized the date of the Normandy Allied landings.
Filled with stunning Art Deco buildings from the 1930s, a stroll through the city center reveals structures and infrastructure dating back to the 1920s and 1930s. While these buildings are meant to comply with the rental law of '45, many have been neglected and left abandoned. Only a few scattered villas have been renovated, highlighting the rarity of such restoration efforts. Despite the city's lack of prioritization, a local association strives to preserve and honor the historical significance of Casablanca's architectural heritage.
The European market where most of the expatriates in the 30s used to come for groceries, pork and wine. Nowadays, it is well known for today's fish cut, fruit and vegetables and strangely flowers as well.
Step inside this sacred sanctuary and be transported through time, as the echoes of prayers and the artistic marvels of its construction envelop your senses. Experience the profound spirituality and cultural significance that Notre Dame de Lourdes has bestowed upon Casablanca for over a century, and embrace the palpable connection to faith and heritage that resonates within its hallowed walls. Well, here you will spend the majority of the time, a multitude of traditional shops around. The decore is so captivating to the extent that you don't feel time passing. The village built with all the commodities that local Moroccan would need, it was primarily meant to accommodate new dwellers coming from different regions of the kingdom. It has all the necessary facilities that locals will need, namely mosques, community oven, houses and of course the majestic palace. The subtle mixture between French architecture and moorish style is truly awesome. However, because of these features the village ended attracting wealthy businessmen instead this .explains the number of shops owned by wealthy people from Fes.
Discover the hidden gem just a stone's throw away from the Sacred Heart Church: the city's sprawling park, a verdant oasis like no other. Dear Seymour, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed your Casablanca tour and that your guide met all your expectations. It would be my pleasure to welcome you back and show you even more of Morocco on a multi-day adventure. Best regards, Issam
The tour was great and hit all the points we wanted to see. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, clearly articulated his messages, was very friendly and considerate. The driver was great, as well.
Hi William, Thanks so much for taking the time to rate your experience in Casablanca! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your experience with our guide, Zouhir Wahbi. Wishing you a safe journey back home, and we hope to have the chance to show you around again in the future! Best, Issam
Amine the driver was great. Polite and careful while we were touring around Casablanca. The guide seemed disinterested in spending time with us. Often on his phone or waiting outside for us.
Dear Joan Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm really glad you enjoyed Amine's polite and careful driving around Casablanca. I’m sorry if Abdu seemed a bit disengaged during the tour. He’s actually one of the best guides in the city and takes pride in performing personalised experience for the guests. It looks like we missed the mark since we were not informed that your are on tight schedule and wanted a totally different itinerary. We appreciate your comments and will definitely use them to improve the experience for future guests. I hope we get the chance to welcome you back for a tour that feels a bit more tailored to your needs. Safe travels and all the best, Issam
Our tour of Morocco with Issam Jaber and his driver, Ali, far exceeded our expectations. Issam’s extensive knowledge of the history of the city and his exceptional knowledge of the Hassan ll Mosque made this tour truly memorable. He enthusiastically shared his culture and Islamic faith with us…answering all off our questions…which were many. The tour included the Hassan ll Mosque, the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, several Parks, the kings Palace, and several interesting markets. We ended the tour with lunch in a local market place restaurant where he arranged for us to experience a real “locals” lunch…including camel which was surprisingly good. If you are looking to take a tour of Casa Blanca, do not hesitate to take Issam’s. You will be very happy you did!
Bob! Thanks so much for the kind words, it really means a lot. I'm so glad I could be there to show you a different side of the city. Can't wait to catch up soon for that multi-day Morocco tour and dive into all the local gems this place has to offer. Enjoy the rest of your trip! All the best, Your local friend Issam
Where and how to begin…our 10 day trip to Europe could never have been quite the magic it was if it wasn’t for arriving in Casablanca and meeting Issam. Do NOT go to Morocco without a tour with him. He is warm, intelligent, well read, a wonderful listener, fun and will make every bit the difference in your experience discovering the wonderful history, diversity and beautiful atmosphere that Casablanca offers. I can’t wait to get back again soon to have Issam show us even more! He will become your friend, not merely your guide, when your time with him is over. 🙏Thank you from the bottom of my heart Issam! You are missed by us all already. Until we meet again my friend. Kerry Van Donge Santa Barbara, Ca.
Hey Kerry, It really warms my heart to read your review. I'm so glad you enjoyed our genuine encounter and the lovely tour we had. You and your partner are such a lovely couple, and I had a whale of a time with you both. I'm grateful for your heartfelt words, and I'm looking forward to our multi-day journey in Morocco. Let's definitely stay in touch. Best, Issam
We were 4 adults who were met at the cruise port at the time we wanted with a clean new Mercedes van. Water was provided and the driver was very good and drove very safe. Our guide Islama was wonderful and showed us so much which could never of been done with the cruise ships tour. It was well worth it and we and our family plan to use him in the future. You can not go wrong with this tour
Nicole! Thanks a bunch for the awesome review! I'm thrilled you enjoyed my company and all the cool spots I showed you. Hopefully, we'll get to hang out again in a new city sometime. Say hi to Karen for me! Keep in touch, Issam
We missed many things that were listed on this tour due to our guy taking us to a carpet store and it took up about an hour of our time. Just be aware to tell them you do not want to have a carpet presentation. Also, I had to be back at the hotel a certain time and I had to ask forcefully to be returned to the hotel. I think he was trying to take us to another restaurant where he gets a commission. The guide was informative and the places we went were good. We felt very safe. I would just be aware of the places you are going and be sure it is the stuff listed on the itinerary.
Dear Kathryn, After a discussion with your tour guide, it seems that a significant number of the 13 participants were interested in visiting a carpet store. The guide offered recommendations based on the group's preferences, whether for the restaurant or the carpet store, rather than personal inclinations. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and deeply appreciate your feedback, as it plays a crucial role in enhancing the cultural experience of Casablanca. Rest assured, we are committed to making amends and ensuring a more satisfactory experience in the future. Best regards, MLT
Driver was terrific and guide showed us a lot of areas of the city as well as the attractions. Would recommend

pro-service: EXCELLENT! among all the agency I contacted, Issam is the most responsive one, since I am very worried about my elder uncle who is in wheelchair to visit somewhere never been. During trip:EXCELLENT! very well knowledged, very helpful with our wheelchair, very polite and passionate about what he is doing, the way he telling the story is fancinating, we learned a lot about their culture; always very pleaseant to have him as guide, at the end, we can choose our own restaurnt instead of the tourism trap, he is also very kindly explaining the food , thus we are able to order the delicious one. Even the driver Youssef is also very very helpful to move the wheelchair, help my uncle get in/out of the car. I will definitely recommend for another time or other guests! The best experience in Morocco! Thanks for morocco local tours provide such a nice tour. Hope can come back for another longer tour!
