It was awesome! Antonio was a great captain. It was the perfect time span as well. We were able to see cool things on the island and have a nice time swimming.
The yacht tour of Capri had several very good aspects. They welcomed us with great joy and kindness, we liked the yacht a lot and, although it was small, it was perfect for our group of 5 people: we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. They also had the thoughtful gesture of offering us limoncello. However, during the tour we had an accident that was a big scare for everyone. Another boat approached without paying enough attention and, if my mom hadn't shouted when she noticed it, both yachts probably would have collided head-on. Finally, the impact was on the side and, fortunately, it did not escalate. I want to clarify that I do not consider it to have been our driver's responsibility, since the other boat was the one that approached without warning us. What does worry me quite a bit is the issue of safety. At the time of swimming, after the accident occurred, I requested a life jacket because I have always snorkeled using one, both in Egypt and in Central America, Peru, and other places. However, the yacht did not have life jackets for the passengers. We also asked for snorkeling equipment and they only provided us with a pair of goggles; they did not have snorkels, fins, or the equipment that is normally provided on these types of excursions. At the end, they indicated to us that the life jackets were available only for emergencies. However, during the tour I was able to check the interior of the yacht and I did not find said life jackets. This worries me especially because, after the accident, I thought about what would have happened if the impact had been stronger and one of us had fallen into the water. For that reason, although the experience had very beautiful moments and the service was excellent, I consider it important that they improve and verify the safety equipment available for the passengers. In an activity at sea, especially when sailing is involved and swimming is allowed, having life jackets and the proper equipment should not be optional.
Superb small-group experience, we were able to discover a part of the island, enjoy a nice swim... very affordable price. It was perfect, thank you.
Excellent walk! Great organization, I managed to find the girls easily, who gave clear instructions and realized that they spoke the passenger's preferred language, ranging between Spanish, English, Italian and even French! The tour itself was great, the boat was very good, new and clean. We had stops to take pictures and swim, the pilot responded to stop requests for photos and also explained the sights that were passing. I loved it all!
This was a great experience for my wife and I. We had an excellent time with our boat driver Luka He was very knowledgeable about the area we were seeing. We enjoyed the caves and particularly the time we got to swim. The water was warm and clear. We give Luka a 10+👍❤️
Great day touring Capri. Tour operator was patient and informative. The views were breathtaking. No life jackets, only noodles on the boat - this is strongly recommended for future trips and safety.
The boat tour was similar to all the others, but the guide was more interested in his phone than driving the boat or explaining what we were seeing.
The whole boat tour was wonderful! Luca our tour guide was very informative and fun. The tour was everything promised….the caves…the swimming….really enjoyed the whole experience.
The boat was 50 years old with two young guys maybe 20 as captains! Awful!!! They took us into a cave then hit the wall while backing out! We were all scared! Only seating room for 6. 3 had to lay up front on pads! Old rickety dirty boat!
I booked this last minute for me and my boyfriend and once we checked in we were told that there was an issue with TripAdvisor and they actually didn’t have space for us for the 12pm sailing time. We were asked could we do the 2pm sail but due to us being on the cruise ship only docked that day it wouldn’t work for us. We were told to wait until 12:15pm to see if everyone came for the sail and if they did, then they would cancel and we wouldn’t be charged because if we cancelled we couldn’t receive a refund. After waiting around for about 45 minutes we were told that they would be able to accommodate our original booking. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the island and was able to answer all the questions that we had and the views from the boat were amazing. The only downside was the water in the area he originally docked for us to swim was very oily from all of the boats so it made your skin feel gross and sticky. He did move to a better location that made the swimming part of the tour more enjoyable once requested. ** Meetup location was not clearly marked but when you get to the address just look for someone out front of either of the restaurants with a pink shirt on for checkin.
