We had an extraordinary good city tour with James. He showed us the beauty of Cape Town and broaden our perspectives of Cape Town and South Africa. James was very kind and gave a very good service. We will definitely recommend both milebymile and most definitely James as or guide!!
Very good tour for travellers with limited time, we have seen many locations. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about Cape Town and it's history. The only negative was that we had too much time allocated for Castle of Good Hope, instead we could have seen other location instead of just passing by, ex. the Town Hall. Unfortunately, Table Mountain was closed due to weather conditions but we went to Signal Hill instead which was a very good substitute as it gave us 360 degrees view over Cape Town.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we will look into the timing and time spent at different stops.
We took this tour with my sister and her husband. We were supposed to be with other people but we ended up being the only passengers so we had a private tour. Our guide, Mike Klaas, was really nice, welcoming and informative. He gave us a historical overview of apartheid South African and current state of affairs in the country. We drove around the city and saw the different tourist sights. Most notable was the stop at Table Mountain. We were fortunate to have good weather and short line to buy tickets for the cable car ride. We spent about an hour at the top having ample time to take pictures of the scenery. Mike waited for us patiently since we could not go down on time as planned due to the long line for the return trip to go down. Overall, the experience was great and one we would recommend for first time visitors to Cape Town.
