Itinerary
The most Easterly Point in North America, this spit of land and famous lighthouses are well known the world over for welcoming travelers from across the seas.
This quaint fishing village provides visitors with a taste of what small-town Newfoundland is like, outside the hustle-bustle of St. John's. In season keep your eyes peeled for fish coming in on the boats!
These iconic houses stand out and help make St. John's the vibrant and colorful town that it is.
We will explore the iconic Signal Hill, with its commanding view of St. John's, the iconic Cabot Tower, and the impressive gun emplacements and history.
This charming village is a perfect last stop on the tour- a perfect representation of the old economy and the new. Fishermen still take their small boats out from the harbour in the "gut," while in the old fish plant, some of the most interesting beer in Newfoundland is brewed.

Steve was excellent. His knowledge of Newfoundland was extensive and his enthusiasm for his country made the tour exceptional.
It is a fast paced tour of the highlights listed in the description. Promp pickup and dropoff. One of my favorite tours.
Excellent experience and our guide Steve was super knowledgeable!
Would have appreciated more guidance on how to find tour operator- red jacket and the word "Viator".
We were disappointed.A lot.We took this tour because we wanted to visit the National Historic Monument of Cape Spear. With no car and no available bus service in St John's, the taxi return fare would have cost 70cad×2. So we paid for this bus tour. Hélas! We were given ONLY 26 ( twentysix!) minutes to visit a scenic historic place at the most eastern point of the North American continent where a 1835 old lighthouse still stands and can be vosited till up to the summit inside! The driver instead told us explicitly and insistenly NOT to go up to the lighthouse and to stay down with him next to the shop and visitor center! That was not Cape Spear however! So we decided to run up the hill in a hurry to take fotos. But did not have time to go inside the lighthouse. What a pity as we come from very far away (Italy). The second disappointment and non compliance with the description of the tour was Quidi Vidi. The driver told us that it was not possible to visit it (sic). Thus, once arrived there, we looked at it from the windows(!) of the little bus for a few minutes. We stopped on the contrary for 35 minutes at a minuscule fisher village, which, historically, is of course absolutely not important as Cape Spear. I can not suggest tp anyone this kind of amateur tour.
Thank you for taking the time to share this, and we're sorry the pacing at Cape Spear left you feeling rushed - that's genuinely disappointing to hear. This excursion is a three-hour tour covering Cape Spear, Signal Hill, and the city, with a firm all-aboard time to work back from. Within that window, the roughly 25–30 minutes we allow at Cape Spear is about as much as the format permits - it's already a substantial element of the tour. If you're back in St. John's, or for anyone reading this who'd like to linger longer, our Hop On Hop Off service is likely the better fit — you set your own pace at each stop and stay as long as you like rather than working to a group schedule. Thanks again for the feedback. — McCarthy's Party
Dillon was our tour guide and he delivered a great afternoon. Very knowledgeable on the history of the area and could answer any question. A lot of fun to be spending the afternoon with
Great tour. Mark was great - very informative. Nice van - only 7 on it so lots of room. Highly recommend.
This was a great tour lead by Bryan who was knowledgeable, funny and entertaining! A great way to get a sample of iconic locations in and around St. John's. Makes you want to come back for more !
Interesting places well worth seeing. There were only a few minutes at signal hill and at the cape which did not allow enough time for exploring.
Fantastic tour! Highly recommended.
