We had an amazing tour! Our guide Peter told us lots of small stories about Africa (with a sense of humor), so the long drives between sights never felt boring — he shared so much about local history and culture. We were super lucky that day: on the road alone we saw baboons, zebras, and goats — like a mini safari. Then at the islands, the seals and penguins didn’t disappoint either. The weather at Good Hope Point was great. The restaurant we booked there was actually quite tasty. Even though it was a long drive, we didn’t feel tired at the end, because every 45-50 minutes we stopped at some nice little shops. There’s a coffee shop along the way I recommend — cyclists stop there too, and the coffee seems to be a local specialty. My friend bought some. Nearby there’s also a nice bakery worth checking out. At the Good Hope Point restaurant, most things were delicious. And if you have the energy, definitely do the walk — you’ll see people carrying surfboards heading down to the waves. My only regret is that if we had one more hour there, I could’ve gone down to the beach to hear the waves and come back. One small thing during booking — leave it as a suggestion or reminder here. I hadn't booked a tour like this before, so I didn't expect they would use WhatsApp to contact me. After arriving in South Africa, I switched to a local SIM card, so I didn't pay attention to the WhatsApp messages on my usual number — I was just waiting for an email. I think it would be helpful to clearly state on the booking page how you will contact customers. For me personally, I missed the message because I took out my home SIM card. But I heard that many travelers from mainland China cannot register for WhatsApp for some reason. After China and South Africa fully reopen for travel, more visitors may have this issue, so it's worth considering. Hope this explanation / suggestion helps!
Thank you so much for such detailed review, we appreciate the time you took to write this. Looking forward to hosting you in the future
We had a wonderful experience in Cape Town, and Albert played a big part in making it so memorable. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and his detailed explanations helped us appreciate the beauty and history of Cape Town even more. Thanks to his skillful guidance, everything felt smooth, comfortable, and well organized throughout the trip. Honestly, many of the experiences we enjoyed would have been difficult to arrange or fully appreciate on our own. We are extremely satisfied with the tour and would highly recommend Albert to anyone visiting Cape Town.
Lola Capetown team values your contribution to our business and support. Happy knowing that you had an amazing experience.
The experience was awesome and Peter our tour guide was knowledgeable about the biodiversity at the Boulders. We had fun
Thank you so much
I took this adventure as a solo traveller, I would really commend this for anyone visiting South Africa and wanting to see a lot more in one day. The guide was absolutely fantastic and very, very knowledgeable. The entire day was told like a story, I was extremely eager to get more information as we were travelling, but the guy had a set plan and cadence for how information was delivered which made it even more engaging and interesting. The whole area tells such an interesting story, and the guide really amplified this. The trip took us to lots of varying places, beautiful sites and overall breathtaking spots. We were travelling in a group with both French speakers and English speakers, this may not be for everyone but the guy did a really really good job catering to both languages and explaining everything clearly as he could. The car was very comfortable and we could even charge our phones. They were around nine of us on the tour. During the trip, I was not forced to spend time with other people, instead there was time to do my own thing or spend time with other people as I would like. Who doesn’t love to see penguins as well! 🐧 It was a long trip and I would not recommend this for young infants. Make sure to buy your Table Mountain ticket before arriving, this was not totally clear, but the guy handled it very well. If you are on a budget, I would recommend bringing some lunch as the restaurant in the Cape of Good Hope was extremely expensive. Overall, I would recommend this trip to my friends and I had really amazing time. Booking was easy, the guide was amazing, a really great holiday experience.

Very recommendable tour, everything was well planned step by step, the penguins remained the highlight of my day, what a beautiful coastal landscape. Chapmans drive was my favourite scenic drive.

Dear valuable customer! We appreciate your contribution with your review and glad to know that had an amazing experience with our Guide Peter
Had an unforgettable Experience going along the coast line of Cape Town while visiting some beautiful coastal villages. The Boulders Beach was such an amazing experience seeing the Africans PENQUINS in their Natural Habitat, once in lifetime visit at the south most western point of Africa #The Cape of Good Hope. Fiston our guide was very friendly and helpful.
Dear guest We would like to thank you for your time and for Choosing us. Xxxxxx
The staff are rude, very bad mannered and think they are superior to you. The staff behavior is so terrible that they don't care about you. They don't know anything about customer service. They charge extra but don't care about the service, they want money but don't think they have any responsibility for your safety. This is daylight robbery, save your money and eat here instead. There are many beautiful beaches that you can visit for free and you won't have to be tortured by the staff.

Our trip to Cape Town, South Africa was truly incredible and memorable. We booked a private luxury family tour with Lola Tours Cape Town with our family and the experience was absolutely perfect. The guide Peter was amazing, very polite, knowledgeable and understood the needs of traveling with a family very well. The entire tour was very comfortable, on time and perfectly planned. The natural beauty of the Cape of Good Hope was breathtaking. The view created by the sea and the mountains fascinated us all. We also got the chance to see African penguins up close at Boulders Beach. Camps Bay Beach was simply a dream with blue sea and a very peaceful atmosphere. Camps Bay creates an amazing atmosphere at sunset that is beyond words! We felt safe, comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire trip. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience!
We gladly appreciate your time and sincere review. Looking forward to welcoming you back in Cape Town soon.
