8:00 Scenic drive through the UNESCO Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark We depart Cao Bang City and follow one of the most beautiful routes in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark. Stop at Ma Phuc Pass, a spectacular limestone gateway and one of Cao Bang's most iconic viewpoints.
9:00 Visiting Dia Tren (a traditional paper-making village) Enjoy a short walk through a peaceful Nung ethnic village, where traditional stilt houses and authentic local life remain unchanged. Learn the centuries-old craft of handmade paper from local families and even try making your own.
11:40 Truc Lam Ban Gioc Zen Monastery Next, we visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery. Climb up for a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Ban Gioc Waterfall, surrounded by dramatic mountains and peaceful rice fields on the Vietnamese side.
12:00 Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. 13:00 Visit the magnificent Ban Gioc Waterfall, the world's fourth-largest cross-border waterfall and one of Vietnam's most spectacular natural wonders. Admire its cascading waters, emerald rice fields, and dramatic limestone mountains You can also take an optional boat ride closer to the falls, where you'll feel the cool mist and see the natural border between Vietnam and China from the middle of the river.

16:00 Discover the hidden beauty of Angel Eye Mountain, named after the giant natural hole at its centre. Surrounded by peaceful grasslands where horses and buffalo graze freely, this untouched valley is one of Cao Bang's most unique and photogenic landscapes.

This tour starts and ends in Cao Bang City If you arrive by the overnight sleeper bus, please tell the driver to drop you off at "Hong Van Homestay address 008 Hong Viet, Thuc Phan, Cao Bang". You can easily find and reach our place by walking about 100m using Google Maps.

The best place to book a tour in Cao Bang. Tien is the best guide you could have in this experience. He explains everything awesome. They pick you up and leave you a you hotel door, which is great. We only have good words to this tour and Tien. If we come back, we are pretty sure that we will hire this tour again. Thanks!
This was such a lovely experience. Cao bang is so beautiful the previous photos don’t even do it justice. We had a lovely breakfast and lunch as well as a local snack in between. The guide Nhân was so supportive and informative and though it was my first time on a scooter it was a really safe and comfortable ride. We got lots of time to spend at each spot and also got to see some local traditional knife forgery at the end which was very cool. It’s great to support a locally owned business and local guides who want to share the beautify of their part of the world. I would definitely book again!
This was genuinely such a perfect experience! Tien was so much help and communication was spot on. I felt very safe on the back of the bike with my easy rider and everyone involved was the most friendly people. They were on time, food was great, not rushed very laid back, this experience felt very rich in culture and unique and not to mention such perfect views! Would recommend these guys without any hesitation. 🇻🇳🫰
I was expecting a group but ended up with a solo tour. Tien, my guide, was amazing. He made me feel safe and comfortable, and was very pleasant to be around. The scenery is beautiful and we stopped off at lots of interesting local spots. I really felt like I got a fantastic insight into the beauty of the Cao Bang region. I would really recommend this experience and am so glad I booked it.
Cao Bang is AMAZING!! It is an untouched beauty with breathtaking views. We totally recommend doing this tour because you get to see a lot of places during one day (including angels eye and ban gioc waterfalls) and meet local people. If you have the chance, you should visit!!! We booked our tour with GerYourGuide. Our guide Tien was incredible and showed us everything, always available to answer our questions and teach us knew things. He took us to a local breakfast and lunch and we got to visit the paper factory where we tried to did ir ourselves
It was a very eventful, informative day with lots of great sights, delicious food and good company. It was especially nice that we got a really authentic insight into Vietnamese culture. In addition, it was a relaxed group size + a lot of time was taken for questions. I can really only recommend it. 10 out of 10 Best regards:)!!!

We had a good day with Nhân, who showed us the beautiful Cao Bang region with breathtaking views! They offer flexible scheduling and adapt the tours to our availability. Our drivers were also friendly and drove us safely to every location. We also had a bus to catch at the end of the day, and Nhân very kindly offered to give us a ride. A reliable and dedicated agency, I highly recommend them if you want to discover hidden gems with local guides!
