Your Egyptologist meets you at Cairo airport with a private air-conditioned vehicle and a sign showing your name. About 45 minutes to the Giza Plateau. You stand at the base of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, hear the actual history, and have time at the panoramic view point. Optional: enter inside the Great Pyramid ($11 USD per person), camel ride along the ridge.
The Great Sphinx of Giza, the limestone guardian carved from a single rock outcrop over 4,500 years ago. Your Egyptologist explains its history. Time for photos from the dedicated viewing platform with the Pyramid of Khafre rising behind it.
You continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum ever built. Your guide walks you through the soaring atrium past the towering statue of Ramses II, up the Grand Staircase, and into the Tutankhamun galleries where his complete collection is shown together for the very first time in history.

Please share your flight numbers and arrival/departure times when you book. We coordinate pickup with your inbound flight and return to the airport based on your outbound departure. The tour ends approximately 2 hours before your scheduled departure to allow for check-in. My tour guide Eslam was great and made the tour interesting and meaningful. Our driver was also very professional and helped us move along in a timely manner from one place to another. As far as the tour administration, I was a bit disappointed that there was a disconnect about a couple items advertised on the Viator page (i.e. "a free camel ride" and "souvenir shopping at Khan el-Khalili bazaar.") The two were not actually fulfilled, and I particularly chose this tour, though it was more expensive, because it had the bazaar added. I would have maybe gone with a similar tour that was less expensive if I knew it would include all the stops.
Ayoub hosted us on a long layover on our honeymoon and did an amazing job. He took us to the pyramids, the museum and a couple other spots around Cairo that were all great. Super knowledgeable about all things Egypt from past to present. Would highly recommend anyone coming to Cairo do a tour with him!
We had fantastic private layover tour with Sayed our tour guide and Muhammad our driver. The whole experience was well organized with Sayed giving us an incredible history of each site we visited. What really made our day enjoyable was that Sayed navigated the busy tourist sites for us and ensured that we were not the subjected to any hard sale tactics by vendors. For instance, we were told the customary price for camel rides as well as tipping. Sayed is exceedingly knowledgeable, very kind and considerate - having drinks and local snacks waiting for us when we entered the air conditioned private vehicle. In addition to the pyramids and museum, Sayed also took us to trusted local business that ensured we spent our money on authentic papyrus, oils and jewelry. Sayed also took photos of my wife and I so that we had great photos together at the various sites. We were given the opportunity to stop on a bridge overlooking the Nile so that we could get photos together. All these little things added up to be what was an incredible experience in a country with amazing history. Would definitely recommend this incredible tour.
We planned a long layover when we were flying home from Dubai so that we could see the pyramids. We had an excellent day with Hosni as our guide and wonderful driver Ahmet. Hosni was very knowledgeable and Ahmet got us everywhere safely. Would highly recommend this tour if you have a day in Cairo.
It was very fast and convenient to book the tour. All my questions were answered over email promptly. I booked the the tour day before I was going to be in Cairo but they were still able to accommodate my requests. I paid a deport of 25$ USD to confirm my booking. With in few hours of confirming my booking my tour guide Hany Mubarak had added me on FB and sent me a message introducing himself. When I got out of the airport I had literally walked 10 temps before Hany recognized me and came to receive me. There was a clean, comfortable car provided with a professional driver. I was able to leave my carry on luggage in the car during the tour making the experience more comfortable. Hany treated me like an honored guest and took great interest in keeping my enjoyment at the top. He clearly communicated the plan for the day and allowed me to make changes based on what I wanted to do. It felt like going out to see the city with a friend rather than a tour guide. I landed early morning at around 6 am and got out of the airport by around 730. Our first stop was the pyramids. I also got a camel ride included in the package. I skipped the solar boat museum and went to the Sphinx. Next we went to a papyrus shop with paintings. After we had lunch with the view of the pyramids. In the afternoon we went to some souvenir stores and headed to Cairo Museum. Lastly on our tour we went to a bazar for the experience. I was safely dropped to the airport at the end of my tour. During my tour Hany paid for everything in local currency and I was able to pay him in USD at the end of the tour. Thanks Hany for making my trip fun and safe.

When I decided to spend my holidays in Egypt, I booked three tours with Egypt Day Tours. Not only they had really good pricing, I had absolutely nothing to worry about from day one. First day, I went on the Pyramids and Egyptian Museum tour. What a grand time experience. I had Mahmoud as a tour guide, and God, what a storyteller. Not only a great enthusiast of Egyptian history, he took me to a different Leven as far as experiencing Cairo was like. He is the true jam. Smart, funny and caring, he was so cool I had to book him again and he took me to Alexandria as well. Now I am back home, and as I flip though my pixited I can't help but feeling a great sense of gratitude for such a wonderful time I had in my Egypt holiday. If you want to book an agency that covers 100% your back? That is it. Mahmoud, Maro, Osama, all great people.
