Bursa and Uludag Cultural Full Day Tour from Istanbul

Cumalıkızık, a 700-year-old UNESCO World Heritage Ottoman village situated at the foot of Mount Uludağ near Bursa, an authentic open-air historical experience. Early Ottoman Civil Architecture: Hundreds of multi-story houses built from timber, adobe, and rubble stone, painted in distinct pastel shades of blue, yellow, and white. Many feature traditional overhanging bay windows (cumba) and heavy wooden courtyard doors with antique iron knockers.

The tombs of Osman Gazi (founder of the Ottoman Empire) and his son Orhan Gazi (the second sultan) sit opposite one another in Tophane Park, located atop a hill overlooking Bursa. They occupy the site of a Byzantine monastery complex (Saint Elia), rebuilt after being destroyed by fire and earthquake in the 19th century.

Bursa Grand Mosque (Ulu Cami), commissioned by Sultan Bayezid I and completed in 1399, is a landmark monument of early Ottoman architecture showcasing strong Seljuk influences.

Koza Han, commissioned by Sultan Bayezid II in 1491 to fund his religious complex in Istanbul, served for centuries as the final western terminus of the historic Silk Road in Anatolia. It remains Bursa's most famous caravanserai and trading hub for silk and textiles.

The Uludağ Teleferik (Bursa Cable Car) is one of the longest continuous aerial cable car lines in the world, spanning approximately 9 kilometers (5.6 miles). It carries passengers from the lower slopes of Bursa up to Uludag National Park in roughly 20 to 25 minutes.
