Explore Braga Cathedral, the oldest in Portugal, with exclusive access to its chapels and high choir. Savor a traditional meal at a local restaurant paired with the region’s famous Vinho Verde wine. Step back in time with a peaceful stroll through this enchanting medieval city. Visit the legendary Guimarães Castle, where Portugal was born, and explore the Palace of the Dukes, showcasing the splendor of royal life. At the end we still have time to stroll around the city center.

Itinerary
We start our tour on the top of the mountain and visit the most magnificent Sanctuary in Portugal and its magical staircase.
Known for the city of the Archbishops where we will visit its historical center, visit the interior of the Cathedral. We will have exclusive access to the interior of the chapels as well as the high choir of the monument.
Stop for a delicious lunch at the Diana Restaurant where the intense flavors of the northern cuisine of Portugal combined with the Vinho Verde (Green Wine).
The oldest castle in Portugal was where the first Portuguese king grew up and has a very important significance and a reference to the country's independence.
The Palace of the Dukes where we are dazzled by the luxuries of royalty from other times. A whole history of Portugal will be told by our local guides who have always followed the group.
At the end of the day we invite our visitors to discover the romantic medieval city of the historic center of Guimarães. We will stroll through the narrow old streets of the city and possibility for some souvenir shopping.

We took the tour of Braga and Guimarães with Nuno and we had a really great time. The tour was organized to perfection and allowed us to visit both cities at a leisurely pace, without ever feeling like we were in a rush. Nuno was a fantastic guide: helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable, managing to tell us the history and curiosities of the places in a pleasant and engaging way. An added value was certainly the lunch together, a truly pleasant and informal moment, during which we also had the opportunity to taste and discover Vinho Verde. Absolutely recommended experience! If you are looking for a guide who will make you experience the day not just as a simple tour, but as a real experience, Nuno is definitely the right choice.

Our Braga and Guimarães small group tour was a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish.
