Don’t be on time. Be early. Starting time was 1:15. We got there at 1:06 and said we’re on the dock but can’t find the ship. At 1pm we texted to say Uber was late and in traffic; that we’d be there at 1:08 for a 1:15 start time. They said okay, so they KNEW we were on the way. Got there at 1:11 and was told the boat already left. They never bothered to respond to our future texts or bothered to wait until at least 1:15 for us.
Boat ride was great. Scenery was awesome Lunch was actually on the boat. Drinks were not included, just water and tea. The stop in Istanbul on the Asian side was less than expected. It's a little town with virtually no shops, just a few restaurants.
I had such an amazing time on this Bosphorus tour! Travelling solo can be a little nerve-racking, and I actually got lost on my way there. Ergzi immediately called me on FaceTime and guided me with directions, which made me feel so much more at ease. When I arrived on the ship, she came over to say hello personally and even offered me a better table. She continued to check in throughout the evening to make sure I was enjoying myself and that I was okay, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff were all incredibly attentive, and the entertainment was fantastic. The performers really gave 110% and got everyone involved, creating such a fun and lively atmosphere. I had an incredible time, even though I was there by myself. If you're visiting Istanbul, I would definitely recommend this tour. It's an absolute must-do!
I loved the tour, was very nice organized, great value for the money for $17, we had breakfast, boat tour and one stop on Asian side. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it
Good communication from Viator. Easy to follow directions to the boat. We walked from Arden City Hotel. The cruise was very informative. We even saw dolphins An altogether memorable experience. Thank you Viator.
very informative, scenic and relaxing trip. you can cover Istanbul in 2 hours with lot of knowledge or consider as starter of your isranbul trip
We booked the cruise with optional lunch and Asia stop for €25 per person. The tour was excellent- good boat, well guided. However, when on the boat, the staff said online tickets like ours didn't include lunch even though our tickets specified lunch was included. I queried with Viator and after reviewing, they agreed to refund 50% of our costs. Without this issue, I would have rated this tour 5 stars.
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the tour and the guided experience. We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the lunch. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding on the part of one of our onboard staff members. We're pleased that the issue was resolved and appreciate your understanding. We hope to welcome you again for a much smoother experience.
It was easy to find the boat. We sat outside on the open deck as we do not buy the breakfast package. We had an enjoyable time on the boat. There were so many magnificents buildings to see. The water was so beautiful, blue azzure especially when the sun was out. Taking a cruise is a must in Istanbul.
A beautiful way to spend a morning in Istanbul. Great tour. Breakfast was tasty fresh & plentiful served with Turkish tea. The views around the bay spectacular and the guide’s commentary was very informative. Spent some time in Asian Istanbul great to see. All in all a fab trip lasting 3hours and great value for money. Loved it!
It is a very nice tour. It is very worthwhile. We took the tour with breakfast, and the cost-benefit ratio is very good. We had a guide in Spanish named Luis, and he was great! Moreover, they were easy to locate with the instructions and very punctual and attentive. The descent on the Asian side is very short, and there is not much to see, but the ride on the boat with breakfast is a very good option.
