Not to be missed! Lagos Grotto Trips takes you to see the Benagil caves, located between Praia do Carvoeiro and Armação de Pêra and placed on the top 10 list of the most famous caves in Europe! We leave Lagos Marina, passing by Alvor, Portimão and Carvoeiro, enjoying the view of beautiful beaches and the Algarve coastline. We will first visit the caves of Carvoeiro and finally, the most famous caves of the world - Algar de Benagil. The caves are truly amazing with its clear water and rock formations of unparalleled beauty, an experience that will create memories for life! Our trip takes place in a completely new 18-seater rigid inflatable boat (RIB) on padded benches providing genuine comfort during the trip. All of our tours are led by experienced guides who offer a very personalized service as each one of our clients is important to us and our company.

Great boat ride , informative guides
UNREAL!! If you love adventure and adrenaline THIS IS YOUR BOAT TOUR. Book it! Wow absolutely amazing. The views were amazing. and the staff were so fun. Great experience overall.

The tour guides were so friendly and the tour itself was beautiful. It gets cold on the water so dress accordingly and prepare to be amazed

The tour of the caves, from Benagil to Algar Seco and Carvoeiro, lasts about 45 minutes. The boat is small and can enter all the caves. One of the guides took photos of all the groups inside the Benagil cave. They gave us all life jackets, and they took special care with safety. The main drawback is that the seats are very close together, and you have to sit with one leg on each side of the divider bar. You cannot change position during the whole trip, and the posture becomes a bit uncomfortable towards the end, after a two-hour journey.

The tour was on a rib boat. Super fun ride over to the caves. It’s 35 min each way so keep that in mind. Leaves time to see several caves and areas near the main cave but it is a quick tour

The trip was so much fun! The guide was so experienced and interactive! He made it so interesting. The caves were so incredible and the view was amazing! My family really enjoyed it and the speed of the boat made it even more special! It’s was like everything I imagined!

We took the 9am tour with Hugo and Ines. This was perfect before it got extremely hot and the crowds were up. We were able to go to Begali cave and we were the only boat there with maybe 5 kayakers. Hugo and Ines were very informative on all the rock formations and gave us great tips on the best beaches and some great spots both in both Lagos and the rest of the Algarve!! 10/10 would recommend this!

It was a very fast boat tour to the various caves. The team was very nice and helpful. Overall, it was just very busy on site, which dampened the atmosphere a little. We had not expected that. Overall, however, it was worthwhile.
