Terrible staff, they make distinctions; the group goes up to the boat's deck while a family is kept closed in a cabin instead
Terrible boat tour. Large boat but full of people. Fast-food style seating. I had to climb over people and families with children to get to the bow and be able to take decent photos. During the swimming stops, people were jumping into the sea from multiple points of the boat; it was a huge mess. Terrible loud music; it felt like a sad 80s New Year's Eve party, I was afraid the conga line would start. The Coast of the Gods is beautiful, but in that context, you can't enjoy it. They ruined the whole atmosphere. I probably chose poorly; I should have evaluated better and gone with a smaller boat. Surely some people like this type of excursion, but I didn't like it at all. Evaluate carefully.
Highly unrecommended, not at all reliable or fair! We went to the port as instructed, and upon our arrival, we asked if the sea was calm enough to ensure a peaceful tour, and we were told that the weather was favorable. As soon as we left the port, the first waves caused quite a few difficulties in reaching Capo Vaticano, a condition that gradually worsened and ultimately made it impossible to reach the destination. On board, many were feeling sick and expressed their desire to return, but this was completely ignored by the crew. In summary, we sailed at the mercy of the waves for three hours, with discontent and states of agitation that made the tour an experience to forget. The owner, obviously, washed his hands of it, not even guaranteeing a refund.
Beautiful sea Very kind and professional staff. Unforgettable experience!!
DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE, WASTED MONEY!! Yesterday we called to find out if the tour was confirmed since the sea seemed rough to us, and they told us yes. As expected, the rough sea caused the tour to be cut short after 15 minutes, and we wandered aimlessly for a while until we stopped several times due to the rough sea; several people were seasick, some were arguing and asking to go home and get their money back because it was truly pointless to be like that, my husband was sick the whole time, and when we asked for a refund we were ignored; one lady was even treated badly because she complained... never again!!!! Run far away, they are terrible.
On vacation in Tropea for 5 days with my family (2 adults and 2 children, 9 and 10 years old); second to last week of July 2026. Recommended by the host of the hotel where we are staying, I booked directly via WhatsApp, the afternoon for the next morning. Invited to arrive at the port half an hour before boarding, it was very simple to park and find the docking point. Quick payment by card, and then the departure. Very large, clean, and welcoming boat. An audio guide briefly explained the name and history of the various coves along the coast. Three stops for a spectacular swim in crystal clear water. Upon arriving at Capo Vaticano, a tasty sample of typical products was offered. The restrooms are clean, with accessories provided. The boat is clean and large. The staff is nice, helpful, and friendly. Positive experience! I recommend it.
Excellent experience: kind welcome, beautiful tour along the coast, pleasant stops, and spectacular sea. Complimentary appetizer of excellent quality.
Beautiful trip, reasonable price, very kind staff, excellent rustic aperitif with local products... absolutely not to be missed!!!
Coastal tour from Tropea to Capo Vaticano with 3 stops for swimming in fantastic waters along the entire coast and wonderful beaches. The welcoming crew and then on board for an aperitif of local products prepared directly by Maria and wine that my husband greatly appreciated. Everything was fine.
That's bad. Broken main boat replaced by a dinghy that with rough seas made us all wet for spray. Itinerary not respected any cave and we were not at Vatican head. Non-existent aperitif a simple glass of wine to save. For 45€ the agency had talked about an aperitif with local products. The duration of the trip instead of 3 hours was two hours. No discount for disservice. To be avoided.
