We will start from the Como wharf, in front of Bar Lario. As soon as you leave you can admire "The Life Electric" designed by the archistar Libeskind. We will continue on the western shore of the Lake to Villa Olmo, Neoclassical Villa with a wonderful park and Italian garden. (1H, 2H, 3H, 4H)
We will then arrive in Cernobbio, which with Villa Erba, home of Luchino Visconti famous Italian director and Villa d'Este currently one of the best hotels in the world create a truly suggestive skyline. Past the Gulf of Cernobbio you can admire Villa Le Fontanelle, which was the residence of Gianni Versace. (1H, 2H, 3H, 4H)
Continuing on the western shore of the lake we will reach Moltrasio and Carate Urio with their wonderful private villas overlooking the lake. (1H, 2H, 3H, 4H)
We will then reach Laglio, a lake town chosen by George Clooney, who from his Villa Oleandra animates the international jet set. (1H, 2H, 3H, 4H)
We will leave the western shore crossing the lake to stop at the Villa Pliniana overlooking the lake, where you can take a regenerating swim in the lake. (1H, 2H, 3H, 4H)
We will then admire the village of Torno that leaps directly on the lake. Continuing towards Como we can then admire the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. (1H, 2H, 3H, 4H)
The visit will end with a walk in front of the very special Villa Troubetzkoy. (1H, 2H, 3H, 4H)
At the end of our tour you can admire Viale Geno di Como, with its wonderful city villas. Drop off. (1H, 2H, 3H, 4H)

Ricky was an amazing guide. He came right to our hotel to pick us up and dropped us back off there. Showed us the history of the lake along with the Villas surrounding it. Would deff come back to him. Amazing guy!

Perfect day with Riccardo, charming and funny. He drove us to a beautiful spot near a little island where we had a swim, showing us all the villas and telling funny stories about the lake. Going with Ricky on his boat was a unique experience. He’s so knowledgeable about the Lake, which made our time that much more enjoyable. He is a very good and safe driver and we highly recommend spending time with him on his elegant boat. A memorable day.

Overall we had a nice time on the water. I was worried initially as the boat stalled immediately after pickup and we sat in the heat for 20 minutes stationary while Ricardo tried to get the boat moving again. I wasn’t sure the tour was going to happen but eventually he was able to get it going. He was knowledgeable about the area and showed us a lot of famous villas around Como. Given the cost of the tour there was more that could have been done to make it more of a luxury experience. He wasn’t ready with Prosecco on board so I had to go into the local bar to pick it up for him and bring it on board. Also he was on his phone quite a bit which shouldn’t happen on a tour like this. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves.
