What a thrill to see whales with their young ones out in the ocean! The guide gave a comprehensive talk before heading out, providing details of what we’ll see, what to expect, safety etc. We did not feel any nausea during the trip (we did take Dramamine just in case). We saw so many whales, including a couple of Humpbacks. We do recommend purchasing the video they take with their drone. The drone gets a lot closer than we can with our cameras.
Top-notch experience, 8 whales and about thirty dolphins encountered!
Almost guaranteed to see whales. A lot seen, well organized with good and pleasant comments. Personal video from a drone, which is very affordable. Coffee or tea with cake beforehand a soft drink during the boat trip. Highly recommended.
This experience was incredible. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. We saw so many whales and had loads of opportunities for photos and to take in the experience. We would highly recommend to everyone visiting Hermanus
Very good knowledgable guide. Saw some whales.
Cozy reception with tea, coffee, cookies and muffins. New and clean facilities and boats. The people on land and on the boat are also great.
It was great! The guide was very sympathetic and gave various explanations not only about the tour but about the whales, their breeding, feeding and other habits. In firm soil there was hot tea, cookies, cupcakes and fruits at the disposal and on the tour served a soft drink. We saw several whales!
Unfortunately not many and spectacular whales seen. The season starts in June, but apparently July itself was not yet a certainty to see them. The crew tried hard to find them, were friendly and gave good explanations
Great experience. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the water and whales.
A fantastic tour company, who clearly value experiences where the whales encounter the boat (not the other way around). We had a truly wonderful trip, observing a mother and young calf. The journey time to see whales is short and only slightly choppy. Crew are knowledgeable about the whales and on hand to answer questions and provide refreshment
