Blue Mountains Hop On Hop Off Tour

What an excellent service. We were only upset as we didn’t realise that if you are staying in the Blue Mountains overnight your ticket is valid for longer, as we would’ve used the service for both the days we were here. If you can, it is therefore much better value for money than paying to park; plus you then have the freedom to walk from one stop to another via the available bush walks. We feel terrible for forgetting their names but both the drivers on 19/8/2026 were absolutely excellent; clearly enjoy taking people around the sights as well as being extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We would absolutely recommend this service as a convenient way to explore the local area.

Great value for the bus and scenic world combo and we could even use the hope on and off bus for both Saturday and Sunday, which saved us public bus fees and allowed us to get to more beautiful spots :)) Definitely recommend it!!

Drivers are very nice and friendly. Helpful with suggestions on hikes and timing back to the bus. They kept you updated on a couple of the closed stop and hikes- maintenance

We spent two days exploring Katoomba and the picturesque surrounds. Best decision we made was to purchase the Explorer Bus Pass. The service provided was exemplary, and we found the commentary informative, and at the same time witty. My partner Tim and I found the Hop on, Hop off service very convenient because we could enjoy each of the sights at our own pace (and on the second day, revisited our favourite stop, amongst the others we did not visit the previous day). We appreciated the suggestions given to us by the drivers, which made our time in Katoomba thoroughly enjoyable. I feel terrible for not remembering all the drivers names from Saturday 4 July 2026, but I would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to each of you for taking care of your passengers. Angus, David, and Tim you were brilliant and funny. We purposely did not visit Scenic World during our recent two day stay, but that is only for the sole purpose of returning and using your friendly and reliable service to take in the stunning Blue Mountains. PS: next time we return it will be during the week, and not during the school holidays.

Great experience for a few days out in the Blue Mountains! Drivers were friendly and knowledgeable and bus ran on time. Great way to experience a few spots in the Blue Mountains without driving. We used it for our hiking adventures.

We were short on time so decided just to do the round trip on the Hop on/ Hop off bus tour. Pre booking online was very easy. Boarded at Katoomba. If you can, sit upstairs for a better view. The driver was very personable and informative, pointing out the best views and slowing down so we could enjoy them. The history of the area is very interesting. After a smooth and pleasant journey, we disembarked at Leura.

We got on at Leura, although the QR code information only told us we had to be in Katoomba. Luckily the bus showed up before we tried to get to Katoomba. The guide was amazing, but he kept telling us we only had a pass for the round trip, but the QR CODE said, hop on hop off..... so not sure what that was about. all a little confusing, but doesn't detract from a good day. Great information by driver.

Brilliant way to see Katoomba and excellent value for money. Included scenic world pass which was great and also allowed multiple day use if needed. I did some walks and used this for in between if I went off track! Bus drivers were great for making suggestions of which areas to skip or get off at.
