We will meet in front of the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street. Our exciting day tour will begin by travelling through Ireland’s southern terrain. Experience the famed Rock of Cashel, a true symbol of Ireland's historical significance, to learn about the core of its past. The outstanding collection of mediaeval structures on this site includes a high cross, a round tower, a Gothic cathedral, an abbey, a Romanesque chapel, and a tower house from the fifteenth century. .
Ireland's national symbol, Blarney Castle! Admire its historic towers, which date back 600 years, and plant a kiss on the fabled Stone of Eloquence. Discover fascinating gardens with enchanted waterfalls and ancient ferns. You're in for an amazing encounter in this mysterious and historically significant location. In Blarney Castle, there is a range of restaurants to pick from.
We will arrive at Cahir Castle in County Tipperary, which will be our final destination for the day. Perched on a rocky island in the River Suir sits the magnificent Cahir Castle, one of the largest and finest maintained in all of Ireland. Constructed by the Butler family in the thirteenth century, this storied castle has seen many fabled sieges and conflicts. Its strikingly maintained defensive architecture provides an amazing window into the inventiveness of the Middle Ages. - The bus journey to the Rock of Cashel lasts around 2.5 hours. Breaks will be taken at service stations in road, where you can buy food and use the toilet facilities.
- There are steep steps at Blarney Castle, this part of the tour may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.

This tour is great if you want to see Blarney Castle and other important cites that aren’t too far from it. The tour guide, Bobo, was great with keeping things moving and interesting! We made every castle in good time and I felt satisfied that I saw everything I wanted.
So fun. The stairs up to the top are VERY narrow but it’s amazing at the top. The mine was about 30 min wait. Our tour guy Tom was great.

Rock of Cashel was gorgeous and we loved the countryside. Cahir Castle was great, however would have been better to spend less time there and more time at Blarney Castle. If you do this tour, take a lunch with you so you can spend more time exploring Blarney Castle and its grounds instead of finding something to eat. It’s gorgeous! The tour overall was awesome and highly recommend it.
The tour was wonderful and our driver Bobo made it fun and characterful in true Irish style.

It was amazing to see the sights but the bus was soooo hot and stuffy with no air conditioning....it was nauseating to be on a bus for that many hours so miserably stuffy and hot

This was my favorite thing we did on our 9 days in Ireland. The Blarney Castle felt like it was going to be just a tourist trap, but the actual castle itself was interesting and the trip to the top is not for sissies! The Rock of Cashil and the Cahir Castle were also wonderful historical and largely untouched historical edifices.
