I had a fabulous time on the Blue Review Tour! It was a pleasure visiting the Uncle Nearest Distillery and Fisk University. I learned so much while having a great time. From the moment we boarded the bus, we were warmly welcomed with snacks and bottled water, which was a thoughtful touch. Carla was an excellent host—friendly, organized, and made the entire experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and educational experience. I will definitely book with Chit Chat Atlanta Tours again!
I had a great experience on the Black history and civil rights tour. Carla Morrison is a great tour guide and she was very knowledgeable. She shared a lot about the history and we were able to visit and see historical areas of Nashville. I would recommend taking her tour!
Chit Chat tours provided an awesome experience. I enjoyed the tour of the HBCUs and Uncle Nearest Disterrly was a great way to end the tour. Chit Chat tours totally nailed it and made the whole experience so much fun! The tour of the HBCUs was such a cool way to learn about history and culture while walking through real landmarks. Uncle Nearest Disterrly was a great way to wrap things up with some chill vibes and tasty treats. It felt like a perfect mix of education and relaxation, and I’m still smiling thinking about it. Definitely glad we went and can’t wait to do more with Chit Chat!
Carla is very well-informed and passionate about the civil rights movement and its history. The tour covered a lot of ground and was very informative. This tour is a little more expensive than some of its competitors, but it was worth every penny.
I had such an amazing time! I learned so much about Fisk University and Tennessee State University. Thank you, Soror Carla, for being such a gracious and professional hostess. Your hospitality made the experience even more memorable. I truly enjoyed every moment!
Overall, I really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it! The tour guide was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and had such a bubbly personality that made the experience fun and engaging from start to finish. She was clearly very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts and insights. I only wish I could have heard all of the "gems" she was sharing, as the audio was difficult to hear at times despite her best efforts. There are just a couple of areas that could make an already great tour even better. The air conditioning in the back of the bus was not working and unfortunately was not repaired during the tour, which made that portion of the ride a bit uncomfortable. Improving the bus's sound system and ensuring the air conditioning is fully operational would greatly enhance the experience for future guests.
The Blue Review Cultural Tour with my Soror Carla Morrison 💙🤍 was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Nashville. Our itinerary was thoughtfully planned and gave us the opportunity to visit several HBCUs, including Tennessee State University and Fisk University. Learning about their rich history, culture, and legacy was both inspiring and educational. We also toured the Uncle Nearest Whiskey Distillery, which was an incredible experience. The history behind Uncle Nearest is powerful, and the tour was engaging from start to finish. Traveling on a comfortable luxury bus made the experience even better. We were provided with snacks and bottled water throughout the day, and everything was well organized. What really made the tour special, though, was meeting other Sorors from all over the country. We all quickly became friends. The conversations, laughter, and shared experiences created memories that will last long after the tour ended. A huge thank you to Soror Morrison for creating such an enriching, seamless, and enjoyable experience. I left with a deeper appreciation for Black history, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nashville!
