Bikes, Beers and Bites: City Food, Drink, & Cycle Tour

Description
When in Rome.... er Amsterdam! When you arrive in Amsterdam you're immediately intoxicated by all the bikes, everywhere look you see locals and tourists alike whipping through the narrow canals and over the quaint bridges. At the same time you're eager to sample some of the traditional local food and drink. This is the perfect tour of all three. Equal parts history, food and drink; we’ll grab bikes and head towards one of the independent breweries in town conveniently located near a classic Dutch windmill. We'll have a chance to sample a local brew and grab some tasty snacks. Hoping back on bikes we’ll explore some of the city, stopping for some more food along the way rounding off the whole experience back where we started – conveniently located next to another fantastic Amsterdam brewery.

Kendra, the trip leader, is very knowledgeable and engaging. She’s a major history nerd and also very funny. The relaxed visits to a few brew pubs were very pleasant. And it was a great way to learn the rules of the road in Amsterdam. I recommend this tour highly!
What trip to Amsterdam would be complete without a bike tour?! Our guide Kendra was great at communicating with us before the tour, and turns out we would be the only participants that day, so we were able to meet and start the tour a bit early. Once we got our bikes, we headed to the windmill brewery for a beer and some bites. It was a gorgeous day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Then we biked some more, stopping at various sites for info and pictures. Kendra made sure we didn’t go anywhere too crazy where we would feel uncomfortable biking amongst the locals. After a couple hours, we parked our e bikes, and enjoyed a few more beers and some bitterballen. This was our last tour of the week, and a great way to finish our trip, thanks Kendra!
Thanks so much for coming along and being flexible! Was great to meet you and perhaps see you in Amsterdam again some time!
