We really enjoyed sightseeing Dublin on the Big Bus Dublin. It was a fantastic way to see all the sights. Niall was our driver and guide. He was brilliant. We learned a lot of history from him. He was extremely knowledgeable and very funny. Thank you Niall.
We just finished the whole circuit of the Dublin HOHO Big Bus Tour with our driver and guide Anne. This was a great way to start our day in Dublin and get our bearings. Her live narration of each stop was informative with historical facts and the perspective of a local. She sang Irish ditties periodically for fun and was helpful with directions, information on admission, site hours or closures, etc. Great experience and introduction to Dublin - highly recommend!
We enjoyed the ride and the ability to get on and off the bus. It helped us get a lay of the land and what we wanted to see while visiting Dublin. Robbie our tour guide while informative was also funny and sang a good tune too! The bus employees in the streets with the flag were also very helpful. I wish I had gotten the young woman’s name who helped us at St Patrick’s but she was great. I would recommend.
We have done hop on hop off bus tours in many cities, and this one was in Dublin by far the best mainly due to our Tour Guide Owen. He was knowledgeable and grand storyteller. Stories were fun yet detailed given the short time between each stop. He also had a lovely singing voice when it came to the Molly Malone statue! His witty banter and clear dialect kept us riveted and entertained given what could have been an average tour. We were lucky enough to have him twice when we hopped on and hopped off. Can’t say enough about what he added to our day! Highly recommend taking the tour through all the stops first and then hitting up individual stops after. We saved the Guinness stop for the end.
Joseph in Dublin big bus is the kindest man of big bus Dublin. We were at a bus stop near Teeling at the end of the day last Saturday , we were waiting for go Dublin bus, I must admit we were waiting about half an hour, Joseph stopped, and I said no we weren’t with big bus, he informed us that he’d passed a Green bus what had broken down, he asked where we was going, he said as it was the last route of the day, jump on, I did show him our tickets that we had paid the other company. What a kind thing to do, in this day an age, I was a bit overwhelmed with his kindness. I did give him a tip when we got off to say thank-you. The commentary, with was humoured, cheerful and a welcoming man. I will in deed use Big Bus the next time I am in Dublin. Thank-you Joseph.
Great commentary from Mike, knowledgeable and amusing. Would highly recommend.
There are not enough busses. We waited 50 minutes for a bus. Meanwhile the GoDublin bus had 4 busses that came by. DO NOT USE THIS BUS SERVICE
Hello, Cheri! We sincerely apologize for the long wait and the frustration this caused during your time in Dublin. Waiting 50 minutes for a bus is certainly not the experience we want for our guests, especially when you are eager to explore the city. We try to maintain consistent schedules, but unexpected traffic and operational delays can sometimes affect our gap times. That said, we completely understand your disappointment, especially when seeing other operators pass by. Your feedback has been shared directly with our local operations team in Dublin so we can review our bus frequency. If you would like us to look into your case, please contact us directly so we can address your complaint and resolve this issue for you. MariaS@BigBusToursCustomerCare
We had an amazing tour guide - Robbie. He was incredibly informative and funny and made it a great day out. We hopped off at stop 23 and were really sad to leave. To our luck when we hopped back on he was the tour guide again and we were overjoyed! Thanks so much Robbie- wanted to give you a tip but had no cash!! Excellent tour! The stops are great, well spaced out and cover the main tourist locations.
Owen was fantastic. Best commentary, so entertaining
What a great way to get a good look at Dublin on a hot day. I did the loop twice— hopping off a couple of times on the 2nd spin. Pick up times excellent. Very short waits. My last tour guides were amazing especially Fiona who sang and gave nonstop information not heard on the other 1 1/3 tours. She told us about the gate at Guinness where they filmed the Christmas ad. I went back to my accommodation and googled the whole story— brilliant! Give that girl a raise. Oh— the reason I chose your tour over the others was because earlier had asked one of your drivers how to get to Trinity. He said ‘it’s our 2nd stop so I’ll drop you there. ‘ it was late in the day. So when I did the hop on/off day I chose your company because one of your guides was so kind to me.
