Osu market
A must see in Nagoya. The shrine is beautiful. Great shopping if that’s your thing or street food that checks all the boxes while in this city. Make sure to bring your translator and enjoy all the people. Sometimes on sundays there is a flee market in the area of the shrine. Interesting Japanese antiques.

Nagoya isn't boring, and has great food!
Patricia was our expert tour guide through the Osu neighborhood for delectable bites and delightful bits of history along the way. Nagoya does indeed have a reputation for being boring, but this tour was anything but boring.

Nagoya is not boring.
We had not realised the need to book Ghibli Park tickets several months in advance. Nagoya is not boring helped us with information and although we couldn't see everything, we got a light pass. As it wasn't an whole day we also when on a street food tour in the afternoon. The tour guides were great and as we had our 4 year old with us, they where amazing with her as well. Including this tour Nagoya actually become one of the highlights of our 3 week holiday in Japan.

Foodie tour
Our guide Patricia was well versed in the history of the area we visited / an interesting mix of shops ( 2nd hand upmarket ) shrine temples and a burial site !! The food stops were delicious and possibly things that we may never have ordered … most enjoyable but fairly busy on a Saturday.
Operator response
