My family and I had a wonderful tour with Batt. We enjoyed his wit and learning about his family and the history surrounding the Ring of Kerry.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We're so glad you had a great time and that the scenery lived up to the hype. Safe travels and hope to welcome you back soon!
We had Batt as our driver along the Ring of Kerry. He was full of history and stories about the area. He sang songs and entertained the lot of us. The scenery was church and worth every penny. Bring along cash for the stops at a living museum, sheep dog demonstration, lunch, and an ice cream/ pub stop.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We are delighted that you enjoyed Bat’s songs, stories, and the spectacular scenery along the Ring of Kerry. We also really appreciate you highlighting the handy cash tip for the local stops along the way. Bat will be overjoyed to hear your kind words—safe travels and hope to see you again!
I did a double tour with Deros; the Kerry Ring and Dingle Shea. Johnny was our guide on the first day and Sheila was our guide on the second day. They were both very charming, professional and knowledgeable. Kerry ring is beautiful and the border collie sheep-dog presentation was a favourite/highlight of the tour. The restaurant we stopped at was also really good and obviously had a beautiful view. I will agree with others that it’s annoying that the activities aren’t included and it would be nice to have the option to pay beforehand, especially as one of these activities (the dog show) only accepts cash which we did not have on us. That being said, the driver forwarded us the entry, which just goes to show how humane and family oriented this tour company is. Even though we had rented a car for our trip; I would never drive Kerry ring, as the streets are very very very narrow and I feel you wouldn’t be able to enjoy the views. I personally preferred the Dingle tour, as it was less bus-intensive and included more stops and also stops that I found more balanced/interesting and also more cost-effective. I love that you got to pick your restaurant in dingle which does help respecting a budget and that we had an hour and a half to walk around and choose how to spend our time. Finally, Sheila really made the tour special; she sang Irish songs/bards that gave history about where we were and recited poems she enjoyed. She presented history with personal anecdotes that were striking and beautiful. 10/10 would recommend this company, but especially her tour if I could only pick one!
Thank you for the wonderful 10/10 feedback across both of your tour days with us! We are delighted that you enjoyed the sheepdog show and scenery with Johnny, and had such a magical, song-filled day exploring Dingle and Slea Head with Sheila. Going the extra mile for our guests is what our family-run team is all about. We also appreciate your valuable insights on the activity options and itinerary pacing. Safe travels and we hope to see you again soon!
We hadn't booked a bus driver, but our tour guide acted more like a bus driver during the entire trip instead of leading the tour and giving the necessary explanations. That was a total disappointment – we were really very disappointed. Never again.
Great tour that was at had a percet pace. Just enough time at each stop. The best part was the sheepdog demonstration - it was so much fun! Great day overall!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
Very easy to book, quick booking.
This was such a great guided bus tour. Our guide Bartholomew (Batt) was wonderful. He is from the Ring of Kerry area. His mother was born there. He was so entertaining . He sang “Danny Boy” and other Irish tunes for us. He was just marvelous. We went to the best sheep dog herding farm. Ate at a local place with a great view of the ocean. We saw all the interesting historical points on the Ring of Kerry! Just such a pleasure meeting him. Definitely recommend this tour!!❤️
Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We are delighted that you had such a memorable time touring the Ring of Kerry with Bat. Having a true local share his heritage, songs, and favorite spots like the sheepdog farm makes all the difference. We’ll make sure Bat sees your kind words, and we hope to see you on another tour soon!
