Highly recommended if it's your first time visiting Stockholm. We both enjoyed the tour and we have Rachel as our tour guide.
It was a very informative and enjoyable tour. Our guide, August, was very welcoming and friendly and made sure that everyone was included in the tour, adjusting the pace to suit all participants. The references to relationships with other Scandinavian countries, both past and present, were well received. August was able to answer any questions he was asked clearly and succinctly with just the right amount of detail. We were particularly grateful for his final recommendation, at the end of the tour, for Pascal coffee where we enjoyed excellent coffee and cardamon bun - our first attempt at fica!
Michael was an outstanding guide. He has an in depth knowledge of Swedish history. And he is a gracious and pleasant person, concerned that everyone in our 10 person group would have an a great experience.
Michael was outstanding. Our group had a lot of questions about everything Swedish, and Michael answered us with intelligence snd vast knowledge while always being tactful (a lot of our questions touched on sensitive religious and political issues). Our conversations took so much time that we couldn’t finish our itinerary in three hours, so Michael volunteered to extend our time together, and when we were done walked several members of our group to their next destination. I would gladly go on another tour with Micharl and recommend him highly.
Michael had an excellent knowledge of Stockholm’s history and culture giving us brief rest stops as we meandered the city. A great introduction to Stockholm. Our walking tour was an easy pace and we covered a good area finishing in the Old Town. Michael was very interesting and spoke excellent English.
The tour guide was perfectly nice and had many anecdotes however his monotone mumbling left me frustrated. I left after the first two hours and should have have left after the first hour. There was too much standing around in the sun for those anecdotes rather than sitting in a shaded area or walking. All of this could have been possible since we had a very small group. Viator needs to have a more professional guide
Our tour guide, Kenneth, was very knowledgeable, lively, and we had the best time. The history of Stockholm and Sweden become alive. I would highly recommend him.
I had a great tour with the guide August! 100/100 for sure. It actually ended up being just me and him, which made it even more personalized tour than expected. We had great weather and got to cover so much of the city, hitting every major area/site that I had wanted to and more. August was amazing at providing historical context, fun stories and local Swedish cultural insights as well! It felt very well rounded tour in providing insight to both history and current Swedish culture and events. We were able to keep a great pace too (not too fast or too slow.) Definitely got my money worth and would recommend to others.
Enjoyed our walking tour with Anders. He walked us through so many eras of Swedish history and added some humor to keep things fresh. Very well done!
Sara was an excellent guide! She concentrated our tour on Gamla Stan based on the interests of the group and was friendly and extremely informative during the tour. Tack sa mycket!
