What a fantastic day, we really enjoyed seeing the sights of Lombok. This beautiful island has so much to offer. Mountains, natural landscapes and more. We particularly enjoyed learning about the culture and history of lombok. Our tour guide and driver were superb
We had an interesting and informative day with our guide, Musleh, and driver, Rahman, exploring the landscape and culture of the Sasak people. Our private car was roomy inside and very comfortable. Rahman was an excellent driver, alert and responsive. The Narmada Palace is beautiful and our local guide, who spoke excellent English, very knowledgeable . It was great to see a different part of Lombok island; the mountains were a good contrast to the Mataram/Sengigi area. Plus, the cooler air was very welcome! We soon developed a great rapport with Musleh and Rahman, who were open to exploring unexpected opportunities. Along the way to our scheduled stops, we were also able to experience a local village market, alive to the hum of busy lady stall holders and talk (through our guide) to local tobacco producers, while their ladies industriously bundled the leaves for later collection. Lunch (extra) was a welcome break after our short walk to the waterfalls. Again, our local guide was very good, with good English. He made short work of any thieving monkeys who eyed our sun glasses. We visited after the lunch hour so the waterfalls were not as busy as they could have been. You will need good mobility and sensible shoes to complete the course and dunk yourself in the water safely. We were most engaged by our visit to Senaru Village, learning about its history and the unique local culture and was of life. It was a living history lesson and fascinating! This was among the very best days out we have had during our 6 weeks in Indonesia, thanks to Musleh and Rahman. Highly recommended.
What I enjoyed about this excursion is that it is very diverse: a mixture of culture and nature I recommend. As for the guide and the driver they were very attentive.
Great day with a good introduction to Lombok life and nature. Informative guide who was great to be with for the day. Fabulous waterfalls …. Probably the highlight for us! Highly recommend!
Amazing guide and driver, supported by a fabulous local guide at the waterfalls. The mixture of culture and nature was perfect and I tried my first ever Singapore cherry along with the local strawberries. Thank you
Last week we were guided by Uji & Hajar (tour guide and driver). Uji speaks English very well and knows a lot about local, national and international cultures. We learned a lot this day and one of our best tour experiences so far. It was absolutely worth the money.
10/10. Would definitely recommend if you wish to see the real Indonesia. The tour was around 10hrs, but we got the whole package; a visit to a temple, a local food market, Rinjani hill views (with an amazing lunch), waterfall, mosque and more. Our tourguide Uji was very knowledgeable, genuine and speaks English very well. With this tour you’ll be covering half of Lombok, so definitely worth it!
Very well read and nice guide. He made the whole tour interesting. Good mix of history, religious and present. Could be boring but the guide was good enough and experienced enough to make it interesting
If you're only in Lombok for a short period of time, which we were (only 3 days as part of a multi centre holiday) this was a great way to see a few of the sights and to learn some of the culture. Guide was both knowledgeable and informative. Visited numerous places including a local village, waterfalls etc. all of which were well worth seeing.
This tour was amazing, our tour guide was called Edy and he was great! so funny, and also full of knowledge, he took us to the markets and then to the villages and he told us so many facts and educated us on the culture which was so interesting. then we went to the waterfalls, the hike isnt the easiest but the waterfalls are so worth it! absolutely breathtaking, i highly recommend doing this tour and ask for Edy as he is fab!! Thankyou guys :-)
