Your experience begins at our office in Berat, Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a member of the winemaking family, who will guide you through the winery and share insights into their production methods and the story behind their wines. The vineyard visit is subject to weather and seasonal conditions. Your guide will inform you on the day if this part is possible. Please notify us in advance of any dietary restrictions or allergies. Winery selection (Edoni, Alpeta, or Pupa) is based on availability at the time of your booking.

Itinerary
Embark on a classic wine-tasting tour of Berat, and indulge in the region’s finest wines. Our friendly driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to one of the wineries in the region. Upon arrival, you will meet one of the family representatives, who will take you on a guided winery tour and explain the winemaking process. You will have the opportunity to taste 3 different types of wine, carefully selected by the winery. To enhance your wine-tasting experience, you will also sample one type of raki, and local snacks that perfectly complement the wine. The total length of the experience is approximately 2.5 – 3 hours, giving you ample time to fully appreciate and savor the wines. Once the tasting is complete, our driver will return you to your hotel in Berat. Please note that the price is for one winery and we can choose from several options including Edoni, Alpeta, Pupa, However, please keep in mind that the wineries are subject to availability.

We had a great experience with The Professor on our Berat wine tasting tour. From the music on the minibus to the wine tasting at the vineyard, it was all excellent and informative. If you would like to taste some good Albanian wine and Raki we would recommend this tour.

The Professor - wine tasting! An absolute highlight of our time in Berat! Our guide -The Professor was wonderful, incredibly friendly, and created a fantastic, welcoming atmosphere. He walked us through the vineyards sharing fascinating insights, and then showed us the winemaking process inside. The tasting was a true delight—we sampled three wonderful wines, with the red being an absolute standout favorite. We even tried the local raki, which gave us a nice little buzz! Authentic hospitality, great vibes, and exceptional wine. Highly recommended!

Great way to see outside of Berat and try the local wine. Our tour guide Igi explained the process and types of different wines that the area specializes in. The winery was beautiful and had amazing views. Big shout out to Igi for making it an amazing experience. Would definitely do again!
