Bellagio's Wild E-bike Tour - Tuesday and Thursday

This bike tour was a highlight of our entire 11 day trip through Europe! Even without ideal weather (chilly and super windy) we had an amazing time. My husband and I and our 12 yr old daughter enjoyed ourselves, despite some challenges as first time e-bikers. The traffic and intense climbs made it a little wilder than I would have preferred. I’m just not used to traffic, much less Italian drivers zooming around hilly curvy roads! The scenery over Lake Como is just out of this world. And the e-bike allows you to access areas you’d never see otherwise. Our butts were sore for a week. In hindsight I would’ve invested in a gel seat just for that trip to make it more comfortable! For those with kids, I’d steer toward the family ride instead of the Wild tour and you’ll skip some of the heaviest traffic areas.

We loved our E-bike experience in Bellagio. The sites were so beautiful. The best part of our trip was our guide Gabriele. He was from Lecco, so he knew so much about the history of the area. He showed us maps of the lake, and explained all the important facts and history. He took us on a little hike, and he visited a cave nearby. He supplied us with a lunch afterwards.

Very friendly guided tour, you have to see the “cycling chapel”, 1000m of height difference and “Technical” descent without danger in wild places as you wish. Transport from the ferry to the store by the rental company.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Gabrielle was an amazing guide and I would have him again ANY time. We saw parts of Bellagio we would never have seen otherwise and had a delightful lunch on top of Bellagio mountains with friendly cows. I highly recommend this trip and the E-bikes make it very doable for the more leisure cyclist. BOOK IT!

What a fantastic bike ride! Our family of 6 - some of us inexperienced riders - all enjoyed the challenge and breathtaking views of the adventure. We were surprised but excited for the ride up the same route taken sometimes by professional riders, but the e-bikes made it do-able and fun, including the off-road sections that allowed us to see and experience more. A wonderful picnic lunch full of Italian treats at the top in a secluded meadow. Gabriele was the best guide: helped and explained and gave us plenty of places to stop and take pics. A blast!

Stunning trip on good bikes, wonderfully designed route with spectacular views along the way and a stop at the Madonna del Ghisallo & cycling museum in Magreglio - way worth the work to get there. Gabriele was a splendid guide & tour leader, and the post-ride lunch - a very simple pizza with local olives - was just perfect for the celebration.
