Sublime excursion in the Calanques in a small speedboat. Our guide and pilot Marie-Lise was passionate, attentive, and generous with her commentary. The little glass of rosé on the way back is very nice. I highly recommend this excursion

I did an afternoon boat tour with a friend and about 8 other people on July 8, 2026. I enjoyed seeing so much of the Calanques and the occasional stops for swimming. The skipper was entertaining, particularly in French. Given the limited amount of time I had in Marseille, I would have been fine with a slightly shorter tour. My only criticism is that there were several points at which the skipper was covering some great distances at very high speeds. The water was somewhat choppy, so those of us in the front were required to hold on to anything in a very awkward manner as the boat repeatedly slammed us hard against the water for 20+ minutes at a time. It was dangerous and jarring.

While sea conditions can sometimes require adapting the navigation, the safety and comfort of our passengers are always our top priority. Your feedback about the rough ride at the front of the boat is crucial: we continuously remind our skippers to adjust their speed to the swell so that every passenger feels safe and comfortable throughout the trip. We also note your feedback regarding the tour duration for travelers on a tighter schedule in Marseille. For those who are still thinking about it regarding the price, don't hesitate any longer, go for it! It is well worth it. Special dedication to our adopted Bordeaux/Landes "captain" 😉 Julie. We had an excellent time. Beautiful spots, great driving (we were amazed and had a blast 🤣) and great explanations. Something to share and do again without hesitation.

what a wonderful way to spend a day in Marseilles when it's so hot everywhere else. The catamaran was mainly "sailed", with little motor use. Stephan and Luke were great. They explained in all languages needed. Food was really more than expected. Nice pasta and tuna salad for me (vegetarian), grilled chicken skewers for the met-eaters. We stoped and swam at 3 places and saw a blue cave. Not many fish, but not the operators fault.....hat's the fault of mankind destroying our oceans. They had coffee, little cakes, chips, watermelon, a really great drink selection and everyone had a great time. I would definitely do this again. Great value.
