Basilica of Guadalupe. Mexico City. Walking tour
Description
We will learn about the history of the Virgin of Guadalupe. We will walk through the Villa de Guadalupe with its different churches. We will see the Capuchin church from the atrium and we will enter the Pocito church to learn about its history. We can enter the Cerrito church but it is not allowed to take photos. In the Indian chapel we can see the remains of the first church and we will enter the New Basilica where the original image of the Virgin of Guadalupe is. We will enter the old Basilica. We will see the Monuments of Juan Diego, Pope John Paul II and the offering next to the beautiful fountains of the place.

Itinerary
We will visit the New Basilica of Guadalupe built in 1976 with a symbolic display of the Faith we have in our Virgin of Guadalupe. On the altar is the original Mantle of the Virgin and we will have the opportunity to be very close to her.
We will visit the Old Basilica and learn about its history. The Virgin of Guadalupe was previously there.
We will learn about the history of the different churches and we will be able to enter some to see their interior. We will see monuments such as the Ofrenda and we will be able to take photos at the different important points of the place.
Baroque style chapel
We will climb the hill to see the church and the wonderful panoramic view.
We will visit the chapel on the hill dedicated to San Miguel

I booked this kind of last minute. K was surprised when I realized I was the only one taking the tour so it turned out to be a private personalized tour experience. Ibuad a great time since the guide let me take my time to explore, ask questions and she even took some of my pictures! It was a candid and full of history experience. Excellent service, Adriana is very professional with eye her doll, makes everything more fun and interesting, super recommended, I did the tour of the basilica and the pyramids and enjoyed it too much. I give it a 10 for q from one to 10 is the top grade otherwise I'd give it a 100.
I didn't realize there was so much to see. Adriana did a wonderful job! She gave plenty of time at each site. Her narration explained everything so well. She also knew the best spots for photos.
