It was a very nice wine tasting with a lot of information about the winery. The wines taste excellent.
We loved our winte tasting with Gabriela. Her passion is evident in the way she shares the story of the vineyard and the wine making process. The snacks provided were very yummy as well! It was a very hot day during the crazy heat wave, but the space was still comfortable and has a fantastic view. My only note- you definitely need a car to get there! We walked from the Bardolino ferry and it was too much; we shared a taxi back down :)
The event exceeded our expectations. The tour was very well organized, and the food and wines were all very delicious. The guide was able to competently and humorously lead us through the facility, and we learned a lot. Anyone interested in wines and oils should not miss this tasting.
A really gorgeous experience. Gabriela who ran our tour and tasting was amazing. She literally picks the grapes herself so knows everything about the vineyard. We had great wines, a fun and funny tour and got to spend some lovely time in the hills above Bardolino. You need to book your taxi in advance to come up the hill.
We really enjoyed the experience, we were both excited to see the vineyard and try all the wines. We were disappointed that out of 4 wines we got to taste 3 of them were red. We would have enjoyed more if a couple were whites or rose or even sparkling. We enjoyed all the lovely food and the olive oil. And the setting is absolutely beautiful we enjoyed the views. And the tour. In the shop it would be nice to have prices on the wine and olive oil so you can decide what to buy after the tour. Our group was quiet no questions so maybe a few questions that thr guide could prepare for eg I’m sure your wondering how many bottle of wine we make a year. Etc. Thank you for a lovely visit x
Very informative and well organised. Guide was very happy to answer our questions and we learned things we'd not picked up at several previously similar experiences. And the wine tasted great!
Our host was excellent — warm, welcoming and really easy to listen to. The explanations were simple and straightforward, not overly technical, but still full of interesting personal experience about winemaking and her family’s story. The wines were lovely and the food pairing was excellent, with generous local meats and cheeses. The setting was beautiful and it felt like a very authentic, relaxed way to learn more about Bardolino wine. Highly recommended.
Lovely location but taxi or car required as steep hills and about a 40 minute walk from the main road in Bardolino. The guide was extremely knowledgeable which led to long conversations of interesting facts. A few chairs in the production area may assist people with limited mobility who can’t stand for long periods. Nice clean area to eat and Tato the Dog was lovely. Ours took about 1hr 40 minutes. Food would have been better served during the wine tasting rather than before, due to the lovely weather.
Giulia the guide was incredible, she was welcoming and informative! The winery is beautiful and located in a beautiful area. Thank you for having us, we will definitely remember and recommend!
A lovely small winery with a very interesting backstory. The tasting was nicely conducted and paced, with the perfect amount of food provided to sample pairings. The wines were very good, and the guide was very personable, with an infectious enthusiasm for the winery and its wines and olive oil. The science behind the vineyard was very interesting, most notably about how the soil changed midway through a row of vines which caused them to change varietals mid-row.
