Itinerary
Start your tour at the famous Ramblas, the heart of the city center.
Enjoy this walking tour of the Old Town and visit the famous Boqueria Market, considered one of the best markets in the world because of its modernist design and the richness of products it offers.
Enjoy a walk along the must-visit Las Ramblas, probably the most famous avenue of the city, home to many bars, restaurants, and shops.
At the beginning of the century, the high class of Barcelona wanted to live in the city center. The most remarkable example of this desire is the Palau Guell, the house of the same Guell family that founded the construction of the Park Guell and the major patron of Gaudi’s work. Have a look at the facade of this private house, where a young Gaudi shows already all his talent to master the light and create beautiful shapes even with very limited space.
Continue your walking tour to discover the Raval, the most multicultural and off the beaten path district of the Old Town, that attracts people from diverse social, cultural and geographical backgrounds. Visit the Rambla del Raval to take a picture with the enormous Cat Statue by Fernando Botero, probably the cutest statue you will ever see.
Take the Montjuic funicular and get ready for the best views of Barcelona from the top. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the Montjuic Cable Car and wonderful views of Barcelona’s iconic skyline.
Reach the Montjuic Castle to enjoy a private visit allowed only to our small group. The Montjuic Castle has been a military fortress since its early beginning, witnessing the change of political power in the city. We invite you to an exclusive visit, not opened to the general public, where you will be able to enter the dungeons of the several political prisoners that have marked the history of the city.
Arise from the dungeons to the sky to admire a bird’s eye view of Barcelona and its surroundings. The best way to admire Barcelona in all its beauty is from high above the city. This is where Barcelona reveals itself in total splendor. With our exclusive visit, you will have access to the Tower of the Castle, where you can admire a 360ª views over Barcelona and, if the day is bright and clear, up to the Pyrenees.
Return to the Old Town by Cable Car: relax and enjoy the ride. Your tour ends in a very good area for some local tapas. Ask your guide for the best spots to visit.

We had a private tour with Katty. I was impressed by her knowledge of Old Town, Montjuïc and surrounding area. She was very accommodating to what we wanted to see. Going on a private tour is the best way to learn about the city.
Katy was an excellent guide. We’d been on many tours this week, but she taught us things we hadn’t yet heard.
Late afternoon was the perfect time for this tour. The sunset views on Montjuic were magical. Lots of walking! Stephanie was a lot of fun and very communicative prior to the tour.
Stefanie was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable, outgoing and fun. You can tell she is very passionate about her job.
My wife and I very much enjoyed the tour given by our guide Montse. It was an evening tour and due to high winds some of the attractions were closed. This did not interfere with the tour at all. Montse was able to deliver an excellent experience. She gave a true Catalan vibe in both her enthusiasm and perspective on Catalan history. She took great care of us in all categories. Thank you Montse 😊
Kathy was great and knowledgeable. Took plenty of time to explain everything. I would recommend to any one single or with family
Montse was an incredible guide — friendly, caring, and truly passionate about the area. She brought us to amazing local gems we never would’ve found on our own and shared so much knowledge along the way. We had a wonderful time and learned a lot. Highly recommend touring with her!
From the moment we met Montse, her love for Catalunya was contagious. She skillfully guided us through Old Town, the ancient city walls, and Montjuïc Castle while sharing the stories, language, and traditions that make Catalan culture so unique. We traveled like locals on the metro, bus, and cable cars, and she captured beautiful photos along the way. Truly the best tour guide we’ve ever had—she felt like family by the end.
Monserrat, the guide, very polite and you can see that she knows a lot about Catalonia. We ended up going to a typical Basque tapas bar.
Miguel was great. I had two meeting points, and went to the wrong one. He worked with us and we still met up to have a great tour. It was a very small group and pricier than a larger group, but well worth it. Our tour was during sunset, and it was a great evening with a beautiful sunset. Since we had already been in the city a few days we weren’t overwhelmed with the tapas. They were good, but we had had them already. The outdoor location was very picturesque and a perfect way to end our Barcelona visit. The Old Town is so full of history and very unique. Getting to ride the metro, funicular and cable car in one tour was great.
