Over all, was a great experience. Some of the navigation was not clear as we had to find places ourselves. The mapping is off on some of our tour, the Bristol Blackbeard and Banksy tour, but we managed to find it with some walking around. The information was fascinating and easy to follow along with. The tour itself was a great way to see that section of Bristol and learn about the history. Would recommend for anyone wanting to learn more about the city while they are here, maybe for the first time.

The audio guide offers a superficial overview of the city. From the title I thought there would be more stops on Banksy and the pirates, instead you only see one Blackbeard site and one Banksy site (two if you go into the M Shed).

Really thorough tour and the app is easy to use. The map feature on the app is super helpful. This kind of experience would be suited for people wanting to do a tour on their own schedule as it can be done at any time on any day. I did also like that we could choose to skip stops that weren't of interest to us.

I had a couple of hours at my disposal before meeting a friend on a Saturday morning in Bristol. It was just before 9am, so no museums, walking tours, or anything like that were open or available yet, so I was pleased to find this self-guided option. It was pretty easy to purchase the tour, download the app and access the content (the password you need to retrieve your booking is in the text message you receive, not any of the emails as stated in the instructions). The tour was well presented, with excellent narration, and a good range of stops that were organised logically. By the time I started the tour I only had around 90 mins, so I put the narration on 1.5 speed and walked briskly between stops. I would’ve liked to take my time and look around a little more at a couple of the stops, but still didn’t feel like I missed out. The static map feature on the app was useful to give an overall view of the tour route, but some dynamic navigation would have been even better to avoid having to switch between the app and Google Maps (maybe integrating this would be too complicated / costly). Apart from that small improvement, the tour was definitely worth the small cost and a couple of hours of time. Thanks
