September 7 Banff tour Tour guide Mr Buyun he provided a professional services friendly manner let us feel very comfortable! Thank you Mr Bu
We travelled on September 7th. Buyun was our guide and he was by far the best guide. He made everything look effortless and smooth. We all had a great time around the rockies. The hotels were comfortable and the pickups and drop offs were exact on time. Highly recommend booking your trip with them ! Also , the bus driver : our captain made sure that there was absolutely no jerks in the entire 4 day journey around rockies, lakes and rivers. Cheers and wishing you wonderful holidays.
Sept 7th , Banff Group - Puyun We booked a trip for our family to see the Canadian rockies, our experience has been exceptional. Right from the beginning Puyun was extremely accommodating and helpful. The Captain of the bus gave the most comfortable drive ever. The trip was very well planned , gave us ample of time to explore all the places. The hotels which were booked each were amazing. I would be coming back to them for another trip soon. Keep up the great work team.

The tour bus only stops at 2 or 3 locations each day, which means you have to see the sights while the vehicle is moving. We requested an English-speaking tour guide, but our guide, Christine, spoke 95% of the time in Mandarin and Cantonese. At the beginning of each segment, she would briefly explain where we were going, inform us of the stops, restroom locations, and the time to return in English. However, for the rest of the hour, she continuously spoke in Chinese, making it difficult to stay engaged. Our group had eight people, along with one other who also requested an English guide, while the rest of the participants spoke Chinese. If you don't understand Chinese, I would advise against taking this trip, as it felt like a waste of money. We opted for a meal plan, but when we reached Banff just an hour before lunchtime, Christine informed us that lunch, dinner, and breakfast for the next day would not be covered, contradicting our original plan. She asked us to check the confirmation, which stated two breakfasts, three lunches, and two dinners during our four-day tour. She stopped the bus in an area where we couldn't find reasonable meal options. Earlier, we had passed a town where she could have stopped for lunch; instead, we ended up buying a cold sandwich for $18. The stop was only 45 minutes long, and with 55 people on the bus and only a few restrooms available, it felt very rushed. At 8 PM, when we stopped for dinner, Christine asked us to find our own meals and suggested purchasing something for breakfast the next morning, saying we needed to leave by 6:30 AM. She dropped us off, claiming she would return in an hour to take us to our hotel after dropping the rest of the group, who hadn’t selected the meal plan, at different hotels. It was dark, and we were in an unfamiliar place, except for two the rest are seniors in our group. We had to Google search for places to eat dinner and buy breakfast, all within an hour. The accommodations provided that day were terrible; the fridge, coffee machine, and telephone were either not connected or not in working condition. We reported these issues to the front desk, who promised to send someone, but nothing was fixed, and we waited until midnight before going to bed. The next morning, we had to throw away all the items we bought for breakfast because they had spoiled. None of the hotels had functioning coffee machines or fridges. Overall, the accommodations during the entire tour were inadequate. This was the worst trip I’ve ever had. If you don't understand Chinese, I strongly advise against going on this trip. The requested English-speaking guide will only inform you about restroom locations and your destinations in English; the rest of the time will be in Chinese. Even after we complained, Christine showed little interest in our concerns, likely because the tips were already included in the booking. If you choose to go on this trip, DO NOT TAKE THE MEAL PLAN. THE TOUR IS NOT WORTH AT ALL FOR THE MONEY YOU PAID.
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We take all concerns seriously and have thoroughly reviewed your comments with our team and the guide. After verification, we would like to clarify the following: 1. Itinerary & Rest Stops – The tour strictly followed the published schedule, with rest breaks every 1.5–2.5 hours. 2. Meal Plan – The inclusions and exclusions were clearly stated in your confirmation. Our guide does not control meal pricing or stop locations. 3. Banff Arrival & Hotel Check-in – Due to the fixed glacier booking time, we arrived in Banff at 8:00 PM. Per the itinerary, guests had one hour in town, and hotel check-in was completed by 10:00 PM. 4. Next Morning Pick-up – The 8:00 AM cable car booking required early pickups (6:30–7:30 AM) from two hotels, 45 minutes from Banff. This was also necessary and clearly operationally driven. 5. Hotel Issues – We regret the inconvenience at Stoney Hotel. However, these matters were handled directly between you and the front desk. Our guide was only informed the next morning and had no means to intervene at the time. We sincerely regret that your experience fell short of expectations.

We had a wonderful four-day trip exploring Banff, the Canadian Rockies, and several of the surrounding national parks. Overall, the trip was enjoyable, and the accommodation was comfortable and pleasant. A huge highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Emily. She was incredibly knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining the history, background, and significance of each attraction in great detail. This trip really made me realize how much value a knowledgeable tour guide can add to an experience. The stories, history, and context they provide are things you simply can’t get in the same way on a self-guided road trip. The only downsides were the short trip duration and the weather. I would recommend spending at least five days in the area to have enough time to explore everything without feeling rushed. For the best scenery and views, I’d also recommend visiting in late September or early October. Lake Louise was unfortunately quite cloudy when we visited, so I’d definitely love to return someday and experience it in better weather. Overall, it was a memorable trip, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Canadian Rockies!
