Candy Cane Mountains are a unique natural wonder located in the Guba region of Azerbaijan, famous for their striking red, orange, and white striped layers. The colorful patterns, formed by the oxidation of minerals, resemble the swirls of a candy cane—hence the name. These vibrant hills are a favorite spot for photographers and nature lovers due to their surreal and picturesque appearance.
"Five Finger Mountain, also known as Besparmak Mountains, is a stunning mountain range in Northern Cyprus. Its distinct hand-like shape and scenic hiking trails attract visitors from all over the world. Explore the rugged beauty of the mountains and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.”
Gachrash Forest covers an area of over 500 hectares and is a popular destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Our Guide is Narmina who is kind, passion about the job and answers every question to the best extend. The views are really fantastic and absolutely worth the money for a guide to introduce things. We visited khinalug village, candy cane mountain, eagle height etc, absolutely brilliant trip. Narmina deserve a raise!
We had a great experience and a lot of fun. Mr Shahid the tour guide is very helpful and friendly. He knows a lot about the places we went.
Shahid Kusayev is one of the nicest people I have met in Baku. The places to visit are really fun and beautiful and the food is also very nice
Honestly, it was a really great trip, full of wonderful details 👌 What really made a difference in the experience was our guide, "Shahed" 👏 Shahid was extremely cooperative, explaining everything in a simple and enjoyable way, not at all boring like some guides. He was also very patient with all the questions and always tried to make everyone happy and involved. The trip was well-organized, the places we went to were amazing, and I felt that we made the most of our time without any pressure.
We booked a tour with this travel agency and we were very happy with how it turned out. The whole tour was very interesting and we visited many beautiful places in nature, ranging from dry and hot deserts where were the candycane mountains located to the beautiful cliffs near the village Xinalik and beautiful oak forests beneath them. I can assure anyone who would want to book this tour that it's worth it and you will not regret it. Our guide was Ayden, who was very kind, told us interesting information and was very fun. I would recommend Ayden as a guide any day, because he made the tour fun and we enjoyed chatting with him. He was very helpful and the amount of information he told us was really impresive. We learned many interesting informations about Azerbaijan, it's history, people, culture and traditions and we also learned about the places we were visiting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to explore Azerbaijan. We received all the necessary informations in advance and the evening before tour we were contacted by Ayden via WhatsApp which was very helpful. The pickup spot was easy to find. Also, a cup of delicious tea at this location is a must.
Thank you for sharing such a detailed review. Your kind words and thoughtful comments are greatly appreciated by our whole team. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we wish you many more amazing adventures.
Narmina is an excellent guide. She answered all of our questions and was very friendly. She even helped me find some vegetarian food at lunch. All of the stops are a bit too short and the Five Finger Stop is not really a stop, it is the bathroom and coffee break before lunch. But that isn't her fault. Lunch was the worst part for me. The restaurant is a bit chaotic and doesn't really have any quality veg options. You can eat, but it isn't that satisfying. Nonetheless, it was nice to have some options. The return drive is very long, it would be nice if one of the stops is saved for the evening/return to provide a chance to get out of the van/off-road car. But it is common for tours to make all the sight seeing in the first part (unfortunately). Despite all of that, I hope you get Narmina as a guide and get to enjoy the beautiful mountains. Truly great scenery. I would recommend the tour for sure.

Best tour possible in my life with guide Gani and driver Elman
Thank you! We're happy you had a great experience.
The tour got altered due to weather conditions and the replacement tour was filled with false promises, a hot bus, and a guide that made me very uncomfortable. Would not recommend.
Highly recommended off the beaten path AZ experience. If you want to see stunning mountains and have lunch at a home in a village above the cloud line, take this tour. Yusif is great!
