This was definitely one of the highlights of our recent holiday in Portugal. Diogo was our guide and he was friendly, enthusiastic and had a great knowledge of Portuguese food and wine. He also provided us with some local and national history, while we walked from one venue to the next. There was a great variety of food and wine provided, in a selection of different venues. A nice small group of five people in total. Highly recommend!
DJ was the best and really made the tour fun. Highlight of Porto for us. I put too much of the hot sauce on my Bifana but would do it again! Thank you DJ and Bluedragon. You are the best.
Gio was an amazing guide: very knowledgeable and helpful. She was full of energy - giving an ambiance to our walking tour. Thank you so much!
It’s really good experience with Rodrigo, he is very nice and took us through all the traditional food and wine tour. Highly recommended. ❤️❤️
We enjoyed the variety of foods we got to enjoy and the great conversation with your guide Jose and the group.
Taissa was a wonderful tour guide! She was so personable, gracious, patient, and kind! Taissa knew so many facts both about the history of the area as well as information about the food too! We would gladly go on any tour with her!
I had a great food tour of Porto, tried many local cuisine and our guide gave us great information on the local food, traditions and customs.
Igor was so brilliant, friendly, passionate kind and knowledgeable - everything you want in a tour guide. We were particularly grateful for the email containing all the places we had been to, he really went over and above to make it a memorable and enjoyable experience. Thank you!
We have food tours in a number of places and this one has to rank with the best. Jose was superb, just enough information and some good laughs along the way. Thoroughly recommend the tour.
We booked a 3 hour tasting tour of Porto which turned out to be through Blue dragon tours. Our guide was Diogo. Luckily for us no one else had booked so it turned into pretty much a private tour. Check in was easy. Diogo checked for any preferences and a quick chat he established our experience with Portuguese food. We started with some very traditional dishes at a family run place. It was highly traditional and felt super authentic. Flavours and service were great. Diogo had great knowledge about the history and origins of the dishes and even some family history of the owners of places. He was very easy to talk to and was always checking how the experience was and was willing to adapt. Conversation was easy and very enjoyable. This was definitely a highlight of our trip and we would say essential to get a really good feel for Porto. We went to places that we wouldn’t have visited otherwise and got a taste of what felt like a very authentic slice of Porto
