Auschwitz-Birkenau Tour – English Guide & Lunch Box

This is a really well organised tour and the lunch box is really good. Highly recommend doing this tour.

The experience was in line with our expectations with the exception of transportation. We paid for private transportation, at the time of pickup we were 4, with a standard vehicle. In addition the other travelers were unpleasant and disrespectful. They made the trip almost 2 hours painful.

We chose this company for our excursion but in the end it only has the name VIP. the driver did pick us up in front of our hotel but when entering the vehicle the first surprise was the state of cleanliness, the rest of the passage of previous tourists remained. Arriving at Auschwitz we learn that the French-speaking guide provided for in the offer would not be present and that we will have to accompany an Anglophone guide. For lunch, there was a lunch planned and there also nothing, the driver forgot to take them. I asked the boss to contact me to find an arrangement between the amount paid and the services received and despite promises no one contacted me again. So I don't recommend this company.

We chose the company Vip Poland for this excursion and unfortunately this experience only had the name Vip. The driver picked us up at our hotel and to start the vehicle was still with the garbage of the previous guests, on the way to take us to the synagogue it was driving non-stop texting on his mobile (not very safe). He dropped us off at the synagogue reporting his return 1h30 later, however there were three rooms to visit so I don't understand the point of letting customers 1h30 or 30 minutes would suffice. For the visit of Auschwitz which was very interesting , there was planned a Francophone guide and to our surprise there was only a guide in English instead. We were also allowed lunch at noon but our driver forgot to pick them up. At the exorbitant price of 160€ per person these breaches are unacceptable especially as the boss had to contact us to make a gesture but no news. I would therefore not recommend this company Vip Poland.

Guide was very attentive to our needs and went out of his way to make our day a good experience. He knew a lot about the area and engaged in good conversation.

We were so fortunate to have found Pawel through VIP Poland. We traveled to Krakow to visit Auschwitz and Birkenau but hadn't gotten tickets in advance. We must have tried a number of companies that were all booked for Wed March 10 and then booked with another that ended up canceling the day before. So we spent more money for a private driver and Pawel made the day so special and worth every penny. He picked us up at 8:30 am on the dot so we were at the ticket office to get a group tour for 11:30 (English speaking). Instead of waiting around, Pawel took us to the only remaining synagogue in the area and the attached museum which we had all to ourselves. We had the Auschwitz tour from 11:30-1:30 and then met Pawel who had packed us a wonderful lunch. Then we met our guide for the short bus ride to Birkenau and we were back by 3. The ride out took a little over an hour with little traffic. The ride back was a bit beyond 90 minutes. Pawel is smart and knowledgeable and we enjoyed chatting with him. He is also devoted to his clients. He managed to get 2 of the remaining 10 same-day tickets available for our time slot and made us feel special in what was a sad but important day. Ps Remember to bring your passports which are necessary and book Mon-Thurs for much shorter lines.

Pickup and bringing from door to door with premium car and nice private driver. We had lunch break served between the guided tours in Auschwitz and Birkenau. There was a little wait at the museum to get a guide in English, but then we got a little extra tour of historical places in the area that you can not see as part of larger groups. Good service and good standard.

Myself and my husband Sean visited Auschwitz on 7th of March 2025 .. We were lifted from our hotel by private transfer with a lovely man called Pablo.. from start to finish he was fantastic 👏 told us all we needed to know .. had lemonade and waters on arrival and when we got collected at the end of our tour Pablo had pizza and a beer waiting for us . First class service and would highly recommend this service .. We plan to return to krakow later this year and will definitely be using this service and hopefully meet Pablo again for another great service on visiting more places 😀

Great 4 days away - visited great places with great food. Apartment was lovely. Spacious and clean. Recommend the Hbitat apartments highly
