Discover Krakow's history on this full-day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum and the Wieliczka Salt Mine. First, you will be taken by private air-conditioned minivan or minibus to Auschwitz-Birkenau to explore the grounds and the museum. In the afternoon, you will get a chance to visit Wieliczka Salt Mine, the underground complex recognized by UNESCO's World Heritage Sites List, and see its chambers carved in salt. This guided has a maximum size of 30 guests in Auschwitz - Birkenau Museum and 35 gusests in Wieliczka Salt Mine and includes pickup and drop-off from your Krakow hotel.

This combined, full-day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine takes up to 10 hours. The offer includes door-to-door pickup and drop-off in a private Mercedes Benz vehicle with an English-speaking driver. The tour starts with pickup directly from your hotel, usually at 9:00 am. You then proceed to Auschwitz-Birkenau. The one-way drive takes around 70 minutes. A short documentary film, The Liberation of Auschwitz, will be screened in the car on the ride over. Your ticket covers entrance fees to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine, as well as tours in English with a guide in both landmarks.
After approximately a 3.5-hour guided tour in Auschwitz-Birkenau, your driver will take you to Wieliczka Salt Mine. The journey takes up to 1.5 hours. A 1-hour lunch break is arranged before entering the Salt Mine. You can also be provided additionally paid lunch boxes. The standard guided tour in the salt mine takes around 2.5 hours. After the tour, your driver will drop you off at your hotel or anywhere else in Krakow city center around 8pm.

- As it is mandatory in Auschwitz Birkenau museum to confirm your personal details, you are required to take with you passport or ID to be presented at the entrance to museum. Please do not forget it, otherwise you may be not allowed to enter museum.
- While in Auschwitz-Birkenau, visitors are required to behave appropriately and respectfully
- Temperatures in Wieliczka Salt Mine are around 59ºF (15ºC). Also, it should be taken into account that narrow paths may seem claustrophobic, and once underground there is no possibility to shorten your visit and turn back. At the entrance, visitors descent 400 steps down and the whole tourist route features over 800 stairs
- In Auschwitz-Birkenau visitors are generally allowed to take pictures with a few, clearly indicated exceptions. Taking photos and filming in Wieliczka Salt Mine is possible only after purchasing additional pass
- The maximum size of your carry-on can not exceed the following dimensions: 11.8 x 7.8 x 3.9 inches (30 x 20 x 10 cm). You can leave your larger luggage in the car
- Please note that in the camps there are mostly dirt tracks, which may cause minor difficulties for wheelchair-users
- There are no restrictions regarding the age of children in Wieliczka Salt Mine and Auschwitz Birkenau Memorial and Museum, but they should be either capable of walking unassisted or carried in baby slings or baby carriers. Baby pushchairs are not allowed underground (salt mine)

It was a nice experience seeing Auschwitz and learning more about history. It was heavy to see these structures due their purposes but we learned a lot. Outstanding and well organized tour. Driver showed up on time, had a short video on Auschwitz in the car. Wi-Fi in the car was outstanding. It was a smooth and well organized tour with a great tour guide when we arrived at Auschwitz.
