Itinerary
Place of burial of St. Clare preserves the Crucifix of San Damiano that spoke to St. Francis. Even in the days of mob fascinates by its simplicity and mysticism that emanates.
Place of the Baptism of San Francesco as well as one of the most fascinating Romanesque churches in Umbria. Its facade is a book yet to be interpreted for the quantity and quality of the fantastic figures that adorn it!
Built in the 1600s and therefore "new", it preserves the remains of the presumed birthplace of San Francesco, which belonged to his father Pietro Bernardone.
The "living room" of the city shows the remains of the ancient Temple of Minerva, now the church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, and the palaces of the free medieval municipality: Palazzo dei Priori, del Capitano del Popolo
The official biography of Saint Francis painted by Giotto and the shop is read as an open book through which to know the life and works of the Saint who has "refounded" the medieval Church. One of the absolute masterpieces of the art of all time and UNESCO patronage as the whole city of Assisi.
The beauty as a mirror of the soul that here rests his gaze on the works of Cimabue, Simone Martini, Lorenzetti and Giotto that talk to us about the relationship between St. Francis and Christ.

A good start for you Italian tour, enjoy your vacations!!!!
Monia was an exceptional guide and made our morning truly memorable. She combined deep knowledge with genuine warmth, tailoring the tour beautifully to our interests, which included a mix of St. Francis and St. Clare. What stood out most was her patience and kindness toward our six-year-old daughter—something we deeply appreciated. Monia struck the perfect balance between informative and engaging, and her flexibility made the experience feel personal and relaxed. We wholeheartedly recommend her, especially for families. Don’t hesitate—book Monia and you won’t be disappointed!
Thera, you and your family were really a joy for me too. I felt like I was among friends. It's a feeling that rarely happens, which makes it even more precious. Have fun in the chaos of the Eternal City!
This was a great tour through Assisi with a very knowledgeable guide! I liked how Monia contacted us before the tour to give us instructions on how to get from the train station and where to go.
I'm so happy, that the day was so nice. Enjoy the rest of the tour!

Dear Debbie, simply, thank you!
Monia was an amazing guide for our day exploring Umbria. We started with a lovely tour through Bavagna, did a local wine tasting overlooking the hills, and then spent our afternoon in Assisi. Monia was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. I'd highly recommend the tour!
Hi Anna, thank you so much. You have been such a pleasant company, but before leaving I forgot to wish you a happy birthday. Happy birthday - albeit late. I hope it was indeed a special day!
We had Monia M for our guide of Assissi. She is clear, kind, and flexible. My mother has limits on how much she can walk at a time and she expertly helped adapt to having a wheelchair and driver along. We learned a lot, saw a lot and especially enjoyed the church of St Francis. Thank you Monia.
Thank you Marilyn. It was a pleasure for me too.
Monia was our guide, and she was fantastic! Her wealth of knowledge about St. Francis, St. Clare, Assisi and the historical sights was impressive. She answered any question we asked, and spent more than the allotted time with us. We learned so much from our tour with her, and it was worth every penny. We would highly recommend this tour, and Monia as a guide. Thank you, Monia!
