Arrival Transfer: Madrid Airport MAD to Madrid by Luxury Van

There was a last minute change of driver which was a bit confusing but overall it was a good and pleasant ride.

Details follow but dealing with PROFi was an absolutely horrible experience. They are an amateurish company and I’m shocked they are still in business with their deceitful practices and borderline criminal negligence. They pray on tired travelers and will not hesitate to leave you stranded with no recourse. My family and I arranged transportation months in advance of our trip to Madrid. PROFi had our flight info and all pertinent details. The week before our flight the company reached out to confirm how much luggage we had and we promptly responded. There was no additional communication until our arrival in Madrid. Upon our flight landing, after having been unreachable on an overnight trans Atlantic flight for the previous 8 hours, I realized PROFi had changed their pickup time to be 05:15 even though my flight was not scheduled to land until 05:30. I immediately contacted the driver once we were able to use our phones and informed him we still had to clear Customs. As you might imagine at this early hour the line for Customs was extremely long with numerous overnight flights arriving at the same time as us. For some reason PROFi did not account for this, which is extremely concerning for a company that claims to offer professional level transportation and familiarity with airport logistics. While I was in constant communication with the driver via text and phone calls, at 06:30 he texted to say he had to leave since the 60 minute pickup window had expired. This was despite us telling him repeatedly we were still in line and progressing through customs. At 06:50 my family and I finally reached the baggage claim and I called him and requested him to return to provide our transacted ride. The driver said he would have to get back to me and hung up the call. After 15 minutes of waiting, my family and I gave up hope and found alternative means of getting into the city. I contacted PROFi and they had the audacity to say that I “was wrong”. About what I’m not sure as they were the ones that arbitrarily changed my pickup time to be before my flight even landed, let alone significantly before I would have made it through Customs. A refund was refused and they ceased communication. Please look elsewhere before booking with this fraudulent company. I have raised a complaint on the European ODR but as I am back in my home country I can merely offer this as a cautionary tale.

Driver did not show. Refused to refund, saying I didn't update the flight information - which I did via email to his request. When I called from the airport, he had no idea who I was.
