Tour Options
Itinerary
Leave Lisbon behind as you cross the Tagus River on the Vasco da Gama Bridge. Built for the 1998 Lisbon Universal Exposition, it is the longest bridge in Europe at nearly 11 miles (17 km) long
From Tuesday to Saturday, starting on the 1st of June, we stop at the Market of Setúbal, considered one of the most beautiful and lively markets in the world: from exotic local fishes to vegetable, fruits, bakeries and cheese.
Only on mondays: Visit the Palmela Castle and ascend the walls and tower for an amazing photo opportunity
You will then follow your guide to a wine tasting session at Casa Museu Jose Maria da Fonseca, one of the oldest wine-producers in Portugal. Enjoy a guided tour of the winery and sample two wines (included) from a wide selection of regional wines.
Continue to the northern shore of the Sado River and discover the beauty of Arrabida Natural Park. Climb to the tallest peak at 1,640 feet (500 meters) and gaze over the verdant park towards the Atlantic and the beaches below.
Stop for a fresh seafood lunch (own expense) in the charming fishing town of Sesimbra. Spend more free time strolling along lively streets or continue for a walk along golden beaches.
Visit a beautiful local family owned wine farm in the heart of Arrábida park, where it is time to taste some wine
Finally, visit the Cristo Rei Sanctuary, inaugurated in 1959 and inspired by the famous Cristo Rei monument in Brazil, and admire Lisbon from a distance before returning to the city.

Our guide/driver Orlando was very knowledgeable, attentive to everyone’s needs, funny and professional!
The wine tour was excellent! The Fonseca tour was very interesting. The Arribida park absolutely stunning views! Our guide Orlando was informative and funny. We had a nice group of people on the tour. Very enjoyable experience.
The four of us has an amazing experience with Phillipe. The tour was well planned and well executed. There was minimal waiting time / driving time between stops which made the day feel seamless, packed with activities, but not exhausting. We particularly wanted to leave feedback becuase of how much we enjoyed our guide Phillipe. He made the tour fun, comfortable and we felt very safe. We suggest everyone specifically recommend him as he was an absolute pleasure and added much value. Thanks again Phillipe!
Excellent day with Orlando! Despite some traffic, we hit each stop with plenty of time and he couldn’t have been more friendly and engaging. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to see some more local areas outside Lisbon with incredible views.
Natalia was amazing! So knowledgeable and funny! We loved her!
This was an intimate small trip. Our guide Antonio was excellent very welcoming and knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend this trip. I would not say it is a trip for wine connoisseurs but an introduction to the local wines and culture of the area. There is a schedule but there is flexibility so do not plan anything immediately afterwards as we arrived back later than planned as we were all enjoying the experience so much. Suggest booking directly with Inside Lisbon to get the best price.
Lovely tour with our guide Benny, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Brilliant communicator with in-deph local knowledge and perspectives teaching us a lot about the region, communities and local wines. Would highly recommend this tour and specifically our wonderful guide Benny.

Small group (8 or less) are the best! The first winery was very big and was led by the winery staff. The second winery was small and was just as good.
Orlando was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly!
