It's a bit expensive, but my son loved it, and the money goes to a great cause so I didnt mind paying it
Aurora was super friendly! We enjoyed our animal encounter!
Fabulous 1.5-hour tour meeting Justin the rhino and family of giraffes. The facility is top notch, and you can tell the staff love the animals. Our tour guide Noah was so much fun and informative. Lots of educational information is provided as well as hands on feeding and photos. The gift shop is super cute, and t shirts are fab. Purchased three, washed and so soft. It was hot and windy but plenty of shade. Bring water and a hat. Well worth the admission price as part of the money goes to the conservation. And best of all, small groups. We also got to peek in a villa, and it is pure luxury.
This experience was so much better than expected! The animals are beautiful and the guides answered all my questions. Longneck Manor is a beautiful place, well kept and extremely friendly staff.
We had great fun at the Longneck Animal Encounters tour. The two tour guides were both so knowledgeable and friendly and gave us plenty of rounds of food to continually feed the many giraffes they have. What a great experience and we learned a lot about the animals! The gift shop had some fun T-shirts and other items to purchase, and the building, as well as the rest rooms, were immaculate. We plan to come back to Fredericksburg in the Fall and will most definitely do this tour again.
From the minute you enter the property through the beautiful iron gates you feel transported to Africa.
This is an amazing opportunity to interact with wildlife in a small group setting. Samantha and Noel were very informative, patiently answering all questions. I can't recommend this trip highly enough!
After taking a little pause at what I was spending on a weekend, I took the plunge and can only say - save up and do it! The villa was beautiful, and being able to sit on the patio at any time to watch the animals was amazing. We would have never left the property, but it was a nice 15-20 minute drive to wineries and restaurants. Breakfast is provided, and yes, I wanted to bring home the basket(iykyk)! We were able to have numerous interactions with all the animals along with the most relaxing time to ourselves that I've ever had. Shout out to Noel - he was our guide the entire weekend and provided all that we asked for and answered every (numerous) question we could come up with. My only regret is that I only booked 2 nights instead of 3. If you are ever going to splurge on a trip - this is it!
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We will certainly pass this on to Noel. This is what we aim for -- 100% satisfaction and great memories. We hope to see you again!
Wow is all I can say! Staff is very well educated on the rhinos & giraffes. Admission was reasonable from my perspective, though not cheap. We were there for about 3 hours. It was warm, but plenty of shade available. They control the size of the crowd, so you can really enjoy the encounters.
Thank you so much for your review. We especially appreciative that you pointed out that we control the size of the group. It's important to us that all visitors get ample opportunity to connect with the animals. We hope to see you back through our gates in the future!
Amazing experience. Absolutely loved it all. The staff was great and knowledgeable. Beautiful property. Giraffes and Rhinos were awesome and had an incredible time learning about them and feeding them. The best part was meeting the newest member of the family just 4 days old! Her name in “Winnie” short for Winifred. I wanted to take her home. Book this experience. We highly recommend it. Thank you Longneck manor !
We would definitely have noticed if our baby Wini went missing. LOL. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We definitely appreciate your thoughtful words.
