Start your cruise in one of the oldest parts of the city. These narrow canals date back to the 14th century and are only accessible by small boats — a peaceful hidden corner of medieval Amsterdam.
Drift through quiet canals once used by monks and merchants. Surrounded by 17th-century houses and bridges, this area still feels like the Amsterdam of centuries ago.
Built in 1306, the Oude Kerk is Amsterdam’s oldest building. Hear stories of its transformation from a Catholic church to a Calvinist landmark — and its unexpected place in the middle of the Red Light District.
See the grand Neo-Renaissance station from the water — designed by Pierre Cuypers (who also built the Rijksmuseum), it once caused outrage for blocking the city’s view of the IJ.
Sail beneath the striking green rooftop designed by architect Renzo Piano. This building rises from the old shipyard docks where Amsterdam's industrial harbor once thrived.
Pass a replica of the 18th-century VOC ship Amsterdam, symbol of Dutch maritime power. The museum itself was once the naval warehouse of the Admiralty, storing gunpowder, sails, and rope.
As you reach the Amstel, the canals open up. This broad river once marked the edge of the medieval city and was essential to trade and transport.
Sail past the prestigious “Golden Bend,” where Amsterdam’s richest merchants built their grand canal mansions during the 17th-century Dutch Golden Age. These houses, with their ornate facades and deep plots, were a clear display of wealth and power.
Near the flower market, you’ll spot the Munttoren, once part of the city wall. In the 17th century, it was used to mint coins when the French blocked silver deliveries to the Dutch Republic.
This iconic white wooden drawbridge is one of the most romantic spots in the city. According to local legend, couples who kiss while passing under the Magere Brug will stay together forever. The original bridge was so narrow that two pedestrians could barely pass each other — giving it the nickname “Skinny Bridge.”

Perfect! Good trip and really nice hosts
Kat, Hes and Mara were fantastic guides! We had an amazing time and learnt so much about language and culture, with some great laughs along the way!
Me and my sister booked this last minute and it did not disappoint, Berta was an amazing host, kept our wine filled up and was so friendly. Wasn’t overly booked and we had a really good, comfy seat. It really made a change to go on a tour with a young person telling interesting facts - she was fab! Hans was a great captain too. Highly recommend
Kim and Kat were great guides who shared great facts about the city and were very entertaining!
Berta and Hans are absolutely amazing! We had the best cruise on the canal. Berta’s historical stories were informative, interactive, and fun. Major plus that her cocktails were delicious. The VIP ticket cost was very fair for the value of the snacks, drinks, and hospitality.
Great ride among Amsterdam canals and tour guide was very informative . Great drink selection. I really enjoyed this tour and recommend it highly
Very funny, we were on Tour with tuana and Badr. They Did a great Job guiding us. Would do again
This is a brilliant tour, very informative. The ladies doing our tour were excellent. It was a lovely, calm way to end our day. It's very relaxing gliding down a canal and a good way to see all the beautiful houses....
Kat and Kim - Very good experience
Had a lovely time on the boat; the tour guides, Kat and Kim, were extremely knowledgeable and friendly; the value for price was excellent as well. 10/10 would do again
