I had originally booked a different tour, but had to adjust because archeological sites are not open on Monday. Alfredo D and Jorge were fabulous and tailored the tour to get me to the places I wanted to see and back to the airport in time for my connecting flight. Krissia was wonderful about checking in and the company even issued a partial refund for the change in itinerary. Great company and guide!

We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Eduardo, during our visit to El Salvador. From the very first moment, he picked us up punctually at the airport, making us feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable. His treatment was always very kind, attentive, and professional. We took a guided tour of the Historic Center of San Salvador, and the next day we visited Suchitoto, where Eduardo demonstrated extensive knowledge of the history, culture, and details of each place. We were impressed by his extensive historical knowledge and the interesting and clear way in which he explained everything, answering each question with patience and enthusiasm. In addition to being an excellent guide, he was very attentive to our needs, always ensuring that we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. Thanks to him, we learned a great deal and were able to appreciate even more the historical and cultural richness of El Salvador. Without a doubt, we would recommend him to anyone who wants to know the country in an authentic, safe, and enriching way. Thank you, Eduardo, for making our trip so special!

I needed to pack in some sights and only had a day. I choose the combo as Suchitoto is a town my friends are not taking me and so it was a bonus to find it as a combo. All admission fees are small, with the ammmmazing Library being free. I choose not to pay for the National Palace as it was more and I didn't want to rush, so will return to pay the 5 dollars myself. All churches visited were so very different, all beautiful in their own way. My tour guide (Stanley) and drivers Jorge and Jose (in training) were so welcoming. I was alone on this tour Jorge picked me up at my friend's house with the biggest smile and great english, he was a wonderful addition to my tour, very knowledgable and could 100% do Tour Guiding too! Jose was lovely, I think his English is small at the minute but when talking about beer he said his favourite was Guiness... as an Irish girl I was proud hehe, even if I hate the black stuff hehe. Drivers were both super safe!! Stanley loves his country and his job, he is so excited to share facts about the spots we visited. He is very professional, dresses professionally and is very welcoming. He did a great job as I know with only one person on a tour it can be tricky. He was always ready to take my photo for me and we enjoyed an extra bonus stop which was wildly funny and worth the 3 dollars (The Plate Museum.) My only thing I would have wanted was a bit more history on El Salvador on the journey to the first stop, more context to assist me connecting the dots. I know a lot of people pre-read on the country but I knew nothing. And a bit more music in the car, Cumbia and other El Salvadorian tunes 😜 Great wee day! Thanks for a lovely intro to your country!! Ali
Hola Ali! Thank you for this amazing and detailed review of our Suchitoto & San Salvador Combo Tour! We are thrilled it was the perfect introduction to our country for you. We are incredibly proud of our team. Stanley, Jorge, and Jose will be so happy to hear your kind words—especially Jose with that fun Guinness connection! Cheers to Ireland! 🍻 Most importantly, we truly appreciate your feedback. You are absolutely right: providing more general history on the initial drive and playing some local Cumbia in the car are brilliant ideas. We are sharing this with the team right away to make the journey even better. Never stop traveling! Safe travel from the Salvadorean Tours Family

This was our first trip to San Salvador and I wanted a tour that also includes something outside the big city. Suchitoto actually became the highlight of our short trip to El Salvador: a very colonial town with a very pretty church and an amazing lunch at Casa 1800 with its fantastic view of the lake. Traffic in San Salvador is insane but we managed to see the highlights of the historic city center. Thanks to Adonis Gamez who was our guide/driver - he provided a safe journey and imparted knowledge about his country and the places we were visiting. Highly recommend!
Hola Dencman! Thank you so much for choosing Salvadorean Tours for your very first trip to El Salvador, and for this highly recommended review of our Combo Discovery Tour! Combining the big city with a peaceful colonial town is the perfect way to experience the country on a short trip. We are absolutely thrilled that Suchitoto became the highlight of your visit. Enjoying a great lunch at Casa 1800 with that fantastic view of Lake Suchitlán, after wandering the cobblestone streets and seeing the beautiful church, is a truly magical experience. You are also absolutely right: the traffic in San Salvador can be quite insane! That is exactly why having a professional like Adonis is so valuable. We are so glad he navigated the bustling Historic City Center safely and efficiently, allowing you to relax, take in the highlights, and learn about our history without the stress of driving. We will make sure to pass your kind words on to him! Never stop traveling! Safe travel from the Salvadorean Tours Family
It was a visit to Suchitoto, a very nice town, it is to go in family plan, enjoy local food, enter craft shops, local posts, nearby there is a lake, walk through its alleys and take many photos. Our guide was Alfredo and attended us very well, always attentive and friendly.

Tienes toda la razón: es el destino ideal para un plan familiar relajado.
