At first, I wanted to spend 4 days and 3 nights, but I chose this one because the schedule did not match. It is undeniable that it is slightly more expensive than the others because it does not have Luxor, Karnak, balloon, but in the end I chose this one and was correct. I was relieved to hear from Egypt Gift Tours, the host company. The ship was named CIELA and there was also a bathtub in the room. The food was delicious and we had a BBQ on the deck for lunch on the second day, which was a great cruise. But as with all cruises in this price range, it was a shame to pay for water. Mr. Guidewaleed of Absimbel, I couldn't understand everything because Mina's knowledge of the other ruins guide was great, but it was a fun tour. I was lucky that there were only three Japanese people working with me and my wife.
We weren’t sure about going on a Nile cruise, but are so happy we did - thanks to Heba who sorted it all out for us, and Zakarya who was the best guide ever. Totally professional, constant care for us, making sure we had a great experience. Relaxation on the luxurious boat combined with extremely well-organized tours along the way. Perfect combination! Like the friendly staff and good food. Thumbs up! :) Claude & Vibeke
Dear Vibeke, we're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience. Your kind words about Heba and Zakarya truly warm our hearts. We look forward to providing more memorable experiences. Regards.
the visits were very nice and especially the attention at all times of Heba Haggag and Mohammed, our guide. They've made everything easier. They answered quickly and were available at all times.
I can’t say enough good things about this experience. The travel company was great. Heba Haggag reached out to me before we were set to board the cruise with a detailed itinerary of activities and associated entry costs for the sights. She even checked in to see how things were going while we were on the experience. The cruise was great. We did the Abu Simbel tour and then boarded the cruise. Accomodations were clean and comfortable. We sat on the top deck and enjoyed the view as we went from sight to sight. The highlight of the entire experience was our tour guide, Mohammed El Khady. He was friendly, energetic, playful, and extremely knowledgeable. His English was fantastic. The tour group was a perfect size (10 total, including us) and Mohammed gave the perfect amount of background history to make it interesting, but not too much to overwhelm. There was always an opportunity to spend some time by yourself and take everything in. Once you’re in Luxor, add the hot air balloon experience. You will not regret it. We enjoyed Mohammed so much that we ended up booking a private tour with him in Luxor once we docked. I would highly recommend this. He took us to valley of the nobles, valley of the queens, and Habu temple. Mohammed also helped us coordinate a Mosque tour in Cairo. Every detail was thought out and planned so we could just enjoy our trip. Mohammed even took us to two great Egyptian restaurants for lunch. I can’t recommend this experience, company, and tour guide enough. It was a once in a lifetime experience and it was incredible. Book this!!
This is one of the very few 2-night Nile cruises. For me, that was more than enough to soak the view. The program was neatly organized and varied but still left plenty of time to recharge. Our guide Islam was knowledgeable and gave interesting but easy-to-follow explanations at the sights. The cruise (accommodation) exceeded my expectations! The cruise also offers optional programs. I suggest that fellow solo travelers should make use of these as it is more cumbersome to organize them alone.
We booked this 2-night Nile Cruise and it was a great experience. First of all, this was the only agency that we found that gave us the option of only two nights in the ship. It made much more sense to us as we wanted to sleep the first night in Aswan in a hotel, and all the other agency packages required us to sleep in the ship anchored in Aswan for the first night. Heba, the person thar organized everything, was very easy to communicate with. The guide Osama picked us up in our hotel at 3:30 am the first night to go to Abu Simbel. The trip went well, the temples are very impressive, it was interesting to drive through the desert, although it’s a three and a half hour trip each way and it was the hottest place in our whole 15-day July trip. But we think it was worth it. We then boarded the MS Semiramis 2 ship towards Luxor. The ship was very nice, the rooms were very comfortable, hotel-like rooms. It had a nice top floor, with a good pool and places to relax and watch the scenery. The service was good and the food was ok, what you’d expect for a buffet restaurant. During the trip we stopped in Kom Ombo and Edfu temples. When we arrived in Luxor, we visited Luxor, Karnak and Hatshepsut temples, as well as the Valley of the Kings. This whole experience was certainly much better because we had a great guide, Esmail. He was by far the best guide we had in all of our 15-day trip through Egypt. He was very knowledgeable, he would always choose interesting spots to see in the temples, was very clear in his explanations, was good at catching everybody’s attention and managed time well so that it wouldn’t be tiring. Our two teenagers also liked him the most. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations.
I had a great time with Jamila Cruise . Everything was perfect. And my tour guide name is Walid. He took care of me really well. I highly recommend this company and my tour guide
Had a wonderful time! Our guide, Wallid, was fantastic. He made everything super easy and stress free! He went above and beyond a normal guide from helping us with currency to pointing out picturesque photo locations to helping us book a balloon tour after the tour was over. He was a super knowledgeable and helpful Egyptologist. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Amazing experience, the best way to travel through Egypt. The cruise has everything you need and the temple visits are very well selected. Tour guide Walid was very clear and helpful and made the experience very enjoyable.
Wow! Heba, Osama, and Mido went above and beyond to make this trip a dream come true! Besides organizing every detail for excursions and being extremely responsive, they were always looking to help make our time in Egypt amazing. The views alone on this 2-3 day boat cruise were incredible and Heba allows guests to “choose their own adventure”. I decided to take out a day to go snorkeling in the Red Sea (recommended) and she was able to make it happen, no problem, in addition to a hot air balloon ride and every temple I wanted to see. Osama was a extremely knowledgeable tour guide who balanced his historical with humor which made the trips to the 4+ temples much more fun! Every meal we had was delicious and offered a wide variety of options for every diet. The staff of the boat provided for your every need, whether it be a cocktail on the rooftop pool, room service or a massage. They even turned on the Liverpool Champions League soccer game (Mo Salah!) for me in the lobby and we all watched together! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. I would recommend to anyone looking for an adventurous, well organized, and relaxing trip! Thanks Heba!
